A new configuration option has been introduced, that allows you to choose to display the names of the chosen cities in the main screen instead of Favorite 1, Favorite 2 and
very useful option, thanks @Bag58
//imho it's much more convenient to have citiy name on the main screen than 'fav1' 'fav2' etc. and to wonder: 'what is under Favorite 1?' ;)
and use of this setting helped to find out that city.cfg needs corrections in PL part:
there is now displayed:
'Warschau' and 'Krakau' (in german?) instead of polish names...

-Poland/Gdansk
-Poland Krakau
+Poland/Gdańsk
+Poland Kraków
-Poland/Warschau
+Poland/Warszawa

//and I know that everybody can adjust this config file but it'd be better if these few basic cities are displayed correctly 'ootb'...

@blzr
I have incorporated your corrections in a new version of City.cfg. I will make sure that they are added in the Git with the next patch, together with the Czech language support.

If everything goes as it should, tomorrow there will be an updated ipk file on the feed for the Foreca 2.2 plugin. There are no functional changes, but:

Support for the Czech language has been added, thanks to ims

Support for the Russian language has been added, thanks to seroga

Some corrections are incorporated to the polish city names, thanks to blzr.
When you are already using the plugin, it should be updated with the next online upgrade you perform.

1) part with czech city was added ( i sorted it in countries), but when was merged, was merged old czech part too, as I saw...

2) I find one cosmetic in my translation, but it i will send in next version, where will be? Temp and Wind. Why aren't in gettext yet?

#: plugin.py:969
msgid ""
"This city is stored as home!\n"
"\n"
" "
why there is so much spaces ? It is not so good for translating, easy overlooked, as in my case :-)

You are right, for the strings Temp and Wind there is no gettext yet. I will correct that in the next version, and update the various language files for it. I hope that you guys will supply with the correct translations in Polish, Czech and Russian for those strings so I can add the correct texts for those languages too. If you have any translation corrections, just upload the Foreca.po and Foreca.mo files here, and I will pick them up and add them to a next patch.

Currently the plugin supports English, Dutch, French, German and Polish, and from tomorrow also Czech and Russian. If there is anyone out there who would like to add other languages, you can upload the files for these as well here.

I'm afraid I made a mistake creating the latest patch file for the Foreca plugin. The result is that the Czech language support did not make it into the version currently on the feed. I will correct this with the upcoming changes.

The City.cfg file should be in the /etc/enigma2/Foreca directory. That file was moved a few versions ago.

If all goes right, tomorrow version 2.3 of the Foreca plugin will be on the feed. Changes:

Added some text strings I missed before to the translations through the locale files

Removed some unnecessary text strings from the locale file translations (e.g. the all spaces string).

Added some missing Russian texts to the locale file (I hope they are somewhat correct)

Added the support for the Czech language, hopefully correct now.
If you are already using the plugin, the new version should replace the old one in the next online upgrade you perform.

@seroga
I see from your attached screenprint that the wind speed information must also be filtered for diacritics. I will arange that in the next version.

@ims
I will check the current Czech translations against your new file and make the necessary corrections in the next version.

In the equivalent Dutch thread there also was a request to show the second page on the main screen if the local time is clearly after 16:00. I will try to implement that as well.

@Bag58
Slightly adjusted the Russian in.
With Filter.cfg can not understand.
There's all right, but with wind speed, what is wrong.
P.S.Maybe we can derive only digit speeds.
A km/h to prescribe in the skin?

@Dima73
You will see the effect of the windspeed text being filtered in the next version. In the attachged screen shot it showed some untranslated diacritics, and that will indeed most likely be the km/h as shown for the Western European languages. I don't think we should only put the number there, since not everyone would understand the meaning that way. We also can not resolve this through the skin, it should be done in the plugin, since the number and text are taken from the web site. But as I said, it will be corrected in the next version, which should also cover any other languages using diacritics there, provided the Filter.cfg entries for such a laguage are there as well.

I will pick up your language corrections as well in the next version. Thank you for those, as I already indicated in the changes description, I was not sure of the additions I had done for the missing 40% or so of the texts. With your help, that can now be further improved. I will try to finish the patch for the new version this evening.
