From today the OpenPLi team supports the Dreambox DM7020HD.
As we don't own a DM7020HD yet, we would like to hear your testresults.

Original (come with box) usb wi-fi Realtek RTL8188S not work on 7025 hd. Not find any network.

Sorry the box is 7020HD. Driver "firmware rtl8192su" is o.k.Wireless netwok is activate.Recognize original USB dongle (Realtec RTL8188S).Wireless menu work 8192su. When scan network find nothing.Can't save adapter settings. With Newnigma2 (OE1.6 and OE2) work well.

Problem solved. Copy with DCC config and bin file r8712 from NN2(att zip file) to OpenPli3 and del 8192 file.It's located:
/lib/modules/2.6.18-7.4-dm800se/kernel/drivers/net/wireless/8192cu.ko
/lib/firmware/rtlwifi/rtl8192cufw.bin
/lib/modules/2.6.18-7.4-dm800se/kernel/drivers/net/wireless/8192cu.ko
/lib/firmware/rtlwifi/rtl8192cufw.bin

Alternate solve:
Yes it is, but its not "installed" by default, if you try with included Dream Multimedia Original Wifi stick
How to:
Connect with Telnet, run these commands to install it manually:
opkg update (hit enter)
opkg remove rtl8192cu(hit enter)
install kernel-module-rtl8192cu (hit enter)
Restart your dreambox.....
Now it will find Wifi hotspots

lost HDD and USB connection after 20 nov or 21 update.. can't remember, i have panic attack since then.. 
500GB drive with 385GB full recordings...
tried to record to USB, but my 7020HD won't see any, but there's 2 of them connected... however my wifi working fine (original Dreambox usb)
right now copying my drive and if it's done someday, i will init HDD again (it deletes all recordings, that's my worry).

little update: 7020HD sees disc's under setup/system/Hard diisc menu.´, but but when tried to record or init, it wont do that and showing error message instead on all plugged discks...
"error: Timeout elapsed, sorry" is the answer.. disc is ok, removed it and all works fine.. added back and pain starts again.
there is no option format disc or install older image or manual install older image that worked.. all i can do is unplug device and wire to router and start over... that is boring..

Hi, I have just switched from another image (Nemesis) to OpenPli, and I'm both impressed and very pleased. The reason for my change was to Nemesis constant crashes, rebooted, froze, and other things. I have not experienced the same thing with OpenPli, it is very much more stable, I´am 100% satisfied. However, the Oscam dos not work for me, freezes very often, Mgcam is not compiled, CCcam works much better. Great features, thanks OpenPli team.
