ive allways one way or another used pli's on my boxs and have had little or no complaints ,my mate bought an 800 hd (clone)and it worked ok as he said then it developed a fault which i thot mite be a tuner problem ,i bought a new tuner for it and managed to get it working but i struggled ,it has a black hole image on it ,once you disconnect the box you get error tune failed or couldnt find tuner ,know ive been around these things for years and understand when the right time dosnt come on i know its a tuner problem i tried everything (ive had 3 new tuners in it)now aqm thinking about image ,maybe it just needs a new image ? anyone with any idea which one? would it work?

There are forums out there that support clone boxes, but OpenPLi isn't one of them. You'll probably have better luck someplace like sat-universe.com, etc...
