is it safe to update my vu+ duo can see that it writes the image is not stable, it has not done before. I use the image 2.1

You probleby have an old image wich means the unstable status with any box will be present when you want to do an online update.
However when you look at the homepage you will see that it's at this moment only the dm7020 hd wich couldt be unstable.
After you've update your box the unstable check will only check the status of the buils for your box (vu+)
