I did the software update online for my DM7025 with Pli image, downloading and installing it went well but doing reeboot the DM7025 hangs. Can anyone explain why? Thanks

Did you update with autoinstall?
It could be that your flash is full.
Try to remove some plugins through telnet if you can .
If this is the case ,i can recommend the cf-boot plugin (you have to have a cf-card),after install you can enable this plugin in the ppanel under the blue button.
It copies your flash to a cf-card ,after this you have a flash with the size of your cf and booting goes much faster.

i just use a 512 mb cf-card,don't no if you still can get it in store.
I think it doesn't matter wich card u use ,but i'm not sure of that,maby someone else can tell.

Any card over 64MB will do, I'd recommend at least 128MB so you can put picons and so on it as well. I've seen them being sold as cheap as 1 euro in a local shop.
There's no penalty for using a larger one, so it's perfectly okay to use a huge 16GB card if you happen to have one - you can still use it for picons and even recordings in addition to booting from it.

Just insert it straight from the shop into the 7025 CF card slot (between card reader and CI), while the power is off (the 7025 does not support "hot plugging").
Then in menu - settings - harddisk run "initialize disk", and let it format the CF card. That's all. No PC required.
