Bootloader Flash failed

Today I tried to flash my DM500HD because it hangs when zapping and exiting the menu.
According to the info in webcontrol it is version: openpli-1.0-2010-09-06
Tried to flash it with my explorer but no message returned that it was done.
Then tried DreamUp over LAN but it did not connect.
The last thing i tried was DreamUp connected with USB and that worked but after "The box is flashing from its memory" it stoped. There was no "Box flashed succesfully" popup.
It did still work and I thought, well maybe I just have a lazy popup. Who knows, maybe there is a new bootloader flashed so I flashed openPli 2.1 Beta and see what happens.
Then I went back to the webcontrol and it says it is still "openpli-1.0-2010-09-06"
So it seems nothing happened, I can still watch but it is with the old image and it hangs when zapping and exiting the menu :-(
Anyone with a solution?
Help would be appriciated.
Kind regards,
Rob.

You use internet explorer to goto ip of dreambox? Try firefox or chrome browser to goto ip box.
Then flash the box with latest nightlybuild image that you find here for DM500HD
be sure you unzip the downloaded file so that you have a *.nfi file that you select when flashing with firefox/chrome browser when using windows.
If bootloader don't update to 84, then doenload bootloader 84 nfi for dm500hd, flash that, reboot box and update again with openpli nightybuild.
If flashing in stopmode (ethernet network & computer browser) don't work, try serial flash (you need computer with dreamup program, serialport(or usb-serial module) and null serial cable.
Dreambox Dm8000 with all hardware addons donated to OpenPli. No interests anymore in policy of CanalDigitaal / M7 group and now-a-days channel encryption (like CI+ / HD+).
Good luck Enigma2 / OpenPli, it was fun with Sky Movies and so on, collected a nice collection of movies. Now back to basic boring lineair TV with KPN iTV (VDSL2 pair bonding 219 / 63 Mbps).
The VDSL pair bonding is excellent for... torrents to NAS in higher quality then HDTV (Like Dolby-TrueHD or DTS-Master-Audio soundquality )
