It could be done in python code but that way every single language that is pulled from foreca website output has to be replaced with something smaller.

As bag58 stated, remove the PIG or make it a lot smaller and all the textt fits fine again!

Did that, for those who need to have it smaller, you can place the following code in your skin_user.xml

<skin>
  <screen name="SelectionTemplateS">
    <panel name="BasicTemplate"/>
    <widget source="session.VideoPicture" render="Pig" position="85,110" size="317,193" backgroundColor="transparent" zPosition="1" />
    <widget source="session.CurrentService" render="Label" position="85,89" size="317,20" zPosition="0" foregroundColor="secondFG" font="Regular;19" borderColor="black" noWrap="1" valign="center" halign="center">
	  <convert type="ServiceName">Name</convert>
    </widget>
  </screen>

  <screen name="PigTemplateS">
    <panel name="SelectionTemplateS"/>
    <ePixmap pixmap="PLi-HD/logos/pli.png" position="85,590" size="135,34" alphatest="on" />
  </screen>

  <screen flags="wfNoBorder" name="ForecaPreview" position="0,0" size="1280,720" title="Forecast">
    <panel name="PigTemplateS"/>
    <panel name="ButtonTemplate_4S"/>
    <panel name="OKTemplate"/>
    <panel name="KeyMenuInfoTemplate"/>
    <widget name="MainList" scrollbarMode="showOnDemand" selectionPixmap="PLi-HD/buttons/sel.png" font="Regular;20" position="425,110" size="835,500" transparent="1" />
    <widget source="Titel2" render="Label" position="85,375" zPosition="3" size="325,100" font="Regular;25" valign="center" halign="left" transparent="1" foregroundColor="unffffff" />
    <widget source="Titel3" render="Label" position="85,375" zPosition="2" size="325,100" font="Regular;25" valign="center" halign="left" transparent="1" foregroundColor="unffffff" />
  </screen>
</skin>

kind regards

Skin?

(Some skins use their own picon rendering script, which are usually broken)

PLi-HD uses the standard PLi-picon renderer. ;)

Thank you for the info... so I am wondering why it doesn't display anything...

I have all the picons in /picons. (folder in the root)
http://cl.ly/311F0c1r3d1x312O3j0j

but this is how it looks like:
http://cl.ly/2F062f1o083J0S1i2J0R

I did 5 minutes ago an: opkg upgrade; opkg update; reboot

Is there any place where I can define which directory the PLi-picon renderer should look for file png icons.

thank you for your time :)

Ok! I managed to solve the issue.

I was using the enigma2-plugin-picons-hd-transparent - 2011-11-27--14-35-10 - HD Picons (transparent) for 9E-13E-19E-23.5E-28E
and didn't work

I am now using the enigma2-plugin-picons-tv-east-013.0 - 20110907-r2 - TV picon set and works!!!

weird...

Hi,

Typically picons should be placed under /media/usb/picon or /media/cf/picon or /media/hdd/picon (not advice because your hdd will always spin up) and the folder is named picon and not picons.

I always install my picons either on /media/cf/picon or /media/usb/picon and I every skins display them properly.

Hello,

Is there any chance to enable the red button on single EPG to be IMDB plugin, since it's empty? Seen this on another image and very helpful to quickly check in English movies from non-english channels and not run the IMDB plugin separately, search EPG etc etc.. Please look at the picture, thanks.

Hi, am I the only one who finds the placement of the Volume Slider conflicting with other parts of skin? I mean if you change volume while beeing in ChannelSelection or Secondinfobar - it will cover some parts of the window. One of the first things I did was to implement my position in a skin_user.xml

<screen name="Volume" title="Volume" position="20,center" size="35,230" backgroundColor="transpBlack" zPosition="1" flags="wfNoBorder">
   <widget name="Volume" pixmap="PLi-HD/infobar/volumeslider.png" position="5,5" size="25,200" orientation="orBottomToTop" transparent="1" zPosition="1">
   </widget>
  <ePixmap pixmap="PLi-HD/infobar/vol_box.png" position="0,205" size="35,24" alphatest="on" zPosition="4">
   </ePixmap>
   </screen>

Can anyone with github account consider changing the placement of the Volume Screen?
Or maybe I`m completely wrong with this and the Volume has been placed in purpose far from the left edge of the screen in order to be displayed correctly on TV`s using overscan function?

My other suggestion is to use bigger font for the ExtendedDescription on Secondinfobar. Watching a 32`` screen it still feels a little bit to small but it is at least readable from 3 meters distance.

<screen name="SecondInfoBar" .....
<widget source="session.Event_Now" render="Label" position="60,178" size="570,365" font="Regular; 22" zPosition="1" transparent="1">
	  <convert type="EventName">ExtendedDescription</convert>
    </widget>
    <widget source="session.Event_Next" render="Label" position="650,178" size="570,365" font="Regular; 22" zPosition="1" transparent="1">
	  <convert type="EventName">ExtendedDescription</convert>
    </widget>
    <panel name="InfoBarTemplate"/>
  </screen>

And please don`t get me wrong - I`m more than happy with this skin, and using my modifications in skin_user.xml is no problem at all, but I would like to share my thoughts with you guys.

Well, normally, you would watch a 32" screen from much closer than 3 meters. And then, I guess, the size of the original font seems to be OK.
For a distance of 3 meters I would recommend a 42-46" TV.
I am watching a 42" screen from a distance of 3 meters and, for example, I find the font of "programme description" (after pressing INFO on the remote) a little too big.

And what about the Description in Secondinfobar? I can confirm that the Event Description after pressing INFO is huge

On a 42" screen it looks very good from a distance of 3 meters.

Well, we agree on this one. What do others think about it?

take the part for infobar2, change what you want and place it into /etc/enigma2/user_skin.xml. This file has priority... You can to have what you want.
( Text in EPG info is big for me now, btw )

So I kindly ask littlesat to consider changing the size of the font to a little smaller, please.
I mean the event description after pressing INFO on the remote.

Do you have any suggestions how small.... could you change by yourself in skin.xml and forward what you want? Just a statement "smaller" is not specific enough to me...
