It is simple.... your box does not support picons that are transparant... that is as far I understand a hardware limitation....

@PhenomXY
font is KS-Bold

@littlesat
this is ofcourse a bad news, but I will have to live with this - other hardware aspects uf the Uno are more than satisfactionary for me.
Is this limitation a known issue for all boxes from the VU family?

Sorry to cut in.

I have noticed a similar problem when you go into WLAN settings under "Network".
There are 9 options and they all fit on just 1 page. However, the last option is unnecessarily copied to the next page.
Can somebody please correct the problem?

Is this a PLi HD skin-related issue or not?
I'm looking into skin.xml but I cannot see any section related to WLAN settings screen.

This can be fixed on the skin by adjusting the heigt of the list over there. I do not use Wlan and therefor never come to the wlan settings so for me it is difficult to troubleshoot. Xqq for that.

@littlesat - what about messages called from Notifications.py in skin ? When begining TimerRecording, then could be enought little rectangle with black position with this info and not switching whole screen for several secons to skin's-screen and back.

Then we need to change python code and we lose compatibility with other skins.... That is wat I'm worried about.... Or someone whould find a trick... There are notification where you need a PIG screen.... then you have the issue it goes from PIG back to "normal" and then PIG again.... We at least need an additional option to the notification screen e.g. UsePigScreen Yes/No or so and when a PIG screen does not exitst use simply the normal one... No idea now how to made it... but I'm brainstorming now.... ;)

Well, if only I knew the correct section of skin.xml I would experiment with the "height of the list" values myself and if I found the correct value, I would gladly share it with you all so that you could update the skin for all.
Maybe someone else can help?
I am talking about the following:
When I go to the following screen: Menu -> Setup -> System -> Network -> WLAN connection, I see the following options:
Adapter settings
Nameserver settings
Network test
Restart network
Mount again
MountManager
NetworkBrowser
Scan Wireless Networks
Show WLAN Status

The last option (Show WLAN Status) is unnecessarily repeated on the next page although all the options fit just on one page.

Would it be somewhere in this section?

The last option (Show WLAN Status) is unnecessarily repeated on the next page although all the options fit just on one page.

If I read this better now we have a chance to tune the list lenght....

@littlesat

according to you VU+ Uno has a hardware limititation. But please take a look a sreenshot i just made on VTI image. It is the same set of transparent icons.And here it is displayed properly.
I`m affraid that the picon renderer is responsible for this - this has propably nothing to do with PLi-HD skin.

Then the picon has the exact size for that skin and it need to to be "auto" resized by the hardware accelerator. It is the hardware accelerator that cannot resize skins and also keep in mind the transparency...

But the same misbehavior I experienced with OpenPLi on following skins: Default (the blue SD one), Vali-Flex, DMConcinity by Holi, ElgatoHD-transparent. So I`m affraid that has something to do with picon.pyo renderer.

Does the picon set have the same size as used in these skins?????? For Pli-HD they should be 100x60 to not use the hardware accelerator.

And if the transparency is not good then this is not skin related... Please open another thread....

@ littlesat the picon-set I use is still the same. It is 100x60 8Bit PNG. I`ve opened a new thread hoping for some comments from other VU+ Uno users. Thank you for your comments and please accept my apologies for blaming the PLi-HD skin.

I saw the new thread.. This is indeed not skin related... So hopefully follow up over there.

@littlesat: do you have some idea how rebuild Radio mode and screns too ?
Could be there hide all information (black screen), when is service selected and using infobar, some as it is for TV ? Now is there list of services and when is used EPG (Info), is used TV layout and infobar with now/next is over it.
On screen are still informations, is difficult recording etc ...

I just noticed that in the skin.xml of the PLI-HD skin the widget "liste" is still used in one of the Foreca screens. In the current version 2.5 that widget has been renamed to MList. This means that the line:
<widget name="liste" scrollbarMode="showOnDemand"
should be updated to:
<widget name="Mlist" scrollbarMode="showOnDemand"
Could one of the skin developers correct this please?
