Hi guys,
I've got a little problem, I have a Vu+duo with Enigma2 and open PLI installed. It did work until yesterday when I got the motor back from the technomate guys. It was working on the tuner B through 2 satelite dishes with a switch.
now is says: service unavailable please check tuner settings.
I;ve cheched the signal from the satelite dish 28.2 after I;ve removed all swiches and motors, and seems like the dish/cable/lnb works well on FTA with another receiver. So I know for sure that the signal that feeds the receiver is good.I've put as well tuner A configured as simple with 28.2E satelite.
now, considering that I have fresh reinstalled Enigma2+open PLI Image, and the CCCam, what else I should be doing, because I am left with this mesage and even the FTA cannels aren't working.
Thanks

this usually means your sats.xml orbital position does not match what you have in your e2 config, or in your service list.

for instance 28.5 instead of 28.2

check sats.xml, and make sure the orbital positions match what you entered in your tuner config
It's easier to edit sats.xml, because that's just one file, while in the channel list the orbital positions are scattered over dozens of files.

pieterg
I have only one post left on the forum coz I just registered

I have conect only a dish on 28.2E, there is no motor or anything else, is only one tuner configured on 28.2E. now the things are changed: Ive done a manual scan, for 28.2E and seems like all 28.2E are working, CCCam is working as well. through the same tuner I've conected a switch and 28.2E + 0.8W, tuner configured with the switch, and it doesnt want to switch, is says tuner fail or something like this.and signal stays 0.

I hope thats bringing more info in, but I thing is someting thats tells to the tuners what to tune using the information from the satelites.xml

or

shall I do a factory reset to the VU+DUO and after I shall install the Enigma2+open PLI?
is that going to help?

Thanks

Hi pieterg,

Unfortunately i cant post here anymore because I am new to this forum, if you know how I can get in touch with an admin let me know and I'll do it.

I have taken some pictures but I can't upload them here for some reason, My Media is alowing me to put stuff here but I cant find how I upload into my media.

anyway, in the first picture is tuner A - not configured
tuner B - single 28.2E

in second picture: config mode: single
satelite 28.2E
send DISEqC no

let me clarify this, sky uk and free sat from 28.2E works, because I scan 28.2 manually, from the receiver menu. so the problem is somehow between satelites.xml and tuners

Many thanks

so if you only configured 28.2, and 28.2 is working, where is the problem?
