roxette, If splash screen 'Radio / Mediaplayer' bothers you, then rename black.mvi to radio.mvi. I will soon reply as authors of well-known projects: "send me a patch and I will fix the bug."
Is this really the first task? Nothing more to improve? Well, let's break the metronome and the sound will disappear. :D
Тhe skin may not work properly on its own.

RevPir, First check that in the skin SNR%  > 0. Sometimes, the dvb card driver is poorly written and shows 0 at some frequencies.
If always 0, disable the "EncryptedChannel" plugin.
If SNR% greater than 0, then set (in OSD menu) the "EncryptedChannel" plugin to the minimum SNR% level.

ozzsurf, this means that one library is not downloading. This is what happens for me at my work. System admins limited something in network.

No, nothing bothers me at all :D
I use VDR SoftHDDevice most of the time.
I noticed that bug so i decided to give you a feedback.
Good thing that it will be fixed though what about 16x16 resolution problem?

I already told you what you can do to improve it, can you implement SoftHDDevice instead of xine?

You said No, as it's over overwhelming for you.

What i should do?  :D

Thanks, 1455, for the quick response.
In fact the snr presented was 0%.

I've disable the "EncryptedChannel" plugin and the message "No Signal" disappeared.

Thanks again and continues with the excellent work.

Best regards

ozzsurf, it may be that the Ubuntu system or disk information has been damaged during use. I had this in the past.
Try to check the HDD surface with a live CD.
Check for damaged packages.
Check manually whether there are any parallel versions or their remnants on the disk.

Try downgrading gstreamer components version if available.
Give the 'ldconfig' command.
If this doesn't help, then you will need to reinstall Ubuntu with formatting. Otherwise, the treatment will take even more time.

You have updated the system and trying to start from the point where the failure occurred. Erase the source folder and start over in the order of the number sequence.
Scripts respond to the version of Ubuntu and select other package names.
"‘ AUDIO_GET_PTS ’ undeclared" means that the headers from the /pre/dvb folder didn't overriten or libc-dev and kernel-headers not installed at all.
The expression ‘ AUDIO_GET_PTS ’ is in the source file pre/dvb/audio.h.

ozzsurf, the build directory OpenPli-PC should be /usr/src/OpenPli-PC, where are /usr/src/linux-headers*. But you have "/home/dave/libs/gst-plugin-dvbmediasink".

Poll.

I'm trying to remake the splash screens according to the value, but there is an insurmountable problem: every time when I switch the channel, enigma2 looks at the stream to determine audio type. Thus, the splash screens selected for the radio appears for a one or less second. If I reassign the radio as a splash screen for the boot logo, then everything OK.
In fact, we always play a video file and this is a “Radio / Media Player”.
Who agrees to show the 'Radio / Media Player' splash screen when loading enigma2 and to show 'black.mvi' when switching to FTA channels or when the channels opens with oscam?

That's the problem i'm trying to explain since last week  :)

What you're trying to do is just a workaround, i think you need to fix the cause not just the symptom.

I don't understand why this bug occurs in the latest build?
Why can't you revert the changes you made so we won't need to reassign anything?
