Hi,

I have the same iissue. I am using XINE-LIB version: 1.2.1hg and not the one from git.

I do not know how to do 1) or 2).

I tried to re-clean and re-install but my openpliPC is always with XINE 1.2.1gh. I am on UBUTNU 11.10.

Thanks
attaros

Hi attaros,

you can try to start synaptic(with sudo). There you can search for "libxine*" and deinstall all installed libxine packages.

If that doesn't work, please do this and post result:
> ls -la /usr/lib/libxine*
> ls -la /usr/lib/xine/plugins/

On my system it looks like this:
$ ls -la /usr/lib/libxine*
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root	 895 2012-02-19 16:48 /usr/lib/libxine-interface.la

Thanks, i found my problem.

I had: /usr/lib/libxine.so.2 -> libxine.so.2.1.0 and also /usr/lib/libxine.so.2.1.0. I manually remove them and re-created /usr/lib/libxine.so.2 -> libxine.so.2.0.0. ( i tried once to install xine-lib from vdr git and from that moment i was not able to go back to an older version of xine-lib).

That solve all my issues. Thanks a lot !

Following the hints, tips, do's and don'ts in this thread, I now have openpliPC running fine on my Ubuntu 11.10 32-bits installation.
I have a Teevi s470 pci card and use the openGL driver. FTA channels, even HD, show nicely.
Next, I want Oscam active, to view non-FTA channels.

I have a Dreambox dm800HD-se where cccam is running with a CanalDigitaal Seca card.
I have installed Oscam 1.20 build 6434 on Ubuntu. I also added module dvbsoftwareca.ko to the kernel.
In the Oscam logfile, I notice that Oscam connects to cccam but fails to open-up a scrambled channel.
Here is the oscam logfile:

What can I do to open-up the scramled channels?
Thanks in advance for your expert help!

Sending the ecms by dvbapi can be prevented by configuring oscam.dvbapi.

@jtsat,

In order to have dvbapi working you need to create a file oscam.dvbapi this is mandatory.
You also need to create the openpliPC user in the oscam.users file and assign it to group=1
[account]
user = openpliPC
group = 1
au = 1

@kerven, @Pr2: thanks for pointing out the oscam.dvbapi bypass. I applied your suggestions, but still no picture.

Oscam is a complete new subject to me, so I need expert help!

Attached, the oscam.log file from the moment I tried to switch to Nederland-1.

Who can point me into the correct direction?

Thanks again!

Hi,

Please create a specific topic or go to an OScam forum.
This thread is not for OScam debugging and please apply the change I ask you to perform in your oscam.users too.

Hi,

I am using the osd branch with vdpau. I was trying to configure xine to use temporal_spatial for HD/SD deinterlacing.

I have edited: /usr/local/e2/share/enigma2/xine.conf

and changed :

video.output.vdpau_hd_deinterlace_method:4 (temporal_spatial)
video.output.vdpau_sd_deinterlace_method:4 (temporal_spatial)

But when i start enigma2 i see in the log:

vo_vdpau: deinterlace: none
vo_vdpau: set_scaling_level=1
vo_vdpau: enabled features: inverse_telecine=0
vo_vdpau: disable noise reduction.
vo_vdpau: disable sharpness.
vo_vdpau: vdpau_update_csc: hue=0.000000, saturation=1.000000, contrast=1.000000, brightness=0.000000, color_standard=1 studio_levels=1
vo_vdpau: skip_chroma = 0
vo_vdpau: background_color = 0

It's like changes made to xine.conf are not being reflected.

What am i doing wrong ?

Thanks
attaros

I solved this by myself, re-reading the posts.
I had to change this not in xine.conf as they are set in A/V Settings in Enigma2 directly.

Some values are kept there and others (which should not be touched frequently) have to be changed in xine.conf directly.

Hi casacristo,

new patch is available for you and all others who don't have a windowmanager running. Patch is currently only available in OSD branch.
To set a fix resolution please add 2 lines to /usr/local/e2/etc/enigma2/settings file. E.g. for 1280x1024:
config.pc.initial_window_width=1280
config.pc.initial_window_height=1024

New patch is available in git which should solve the problem with MPEG4 SD (see post 447). It's currently only in master branch.

Thanks to Raider05 for development and testing!

Hi all,

I have merged osd branch into master branch. So osd branch isn't any longer necessary for non nvidia users.

I had the same problem. THANKS TO ALL!!!

Now it starts up - Great, but new problem.....

Says in setup only TUNER A: VTUNER (DVB-S2)

I have a DVB-T tuner that Ubuntu see and Kaffeine see (have picture but no sound) but OpenPLi dont see it.
Any chance to get it working?

Best regard

Amatøren

Hi Amatoren,

I think that you need to change this file:
/usr/local/e2/etc/tuxbox/nim_sockets

But I don't know exactly what you need to change. Try to change DVB-S2 to DVB-T and the name to the name you see in dmesg output.

dmesg:

[ 5453.104466] usb 2-6: USB disconnect, device number 3
[ 5457.956145] usb 2-5: new high speed USB device number 4 using ehci_hcd

Like this?

NIM Socket 0:
Type: DVB-T
Name: ehci_hcd
Has_Outputs: no
Frontend_Device: 0

But gives:

ERROR - failed to scan (error starting scanning)!

Hi,

Check on which: /dev/dvb/adaptatorX is your DVB-T on your system.

Then you need to edit the file: /usr/local/e2/etc/tuxbox/nim_sockets.

Let say that on your system /dev/dvb/adaptator0 is vtuner and /dev/dvb/adaptator1 is your DVB-T simply create this:
NIM Socket 0:
		Type: DVB-S2
		Name: The Virtual Tuner
		Has_Outputs: no
		Frontend_Device: 0

NIM Socket 1:
		Type: DVB-T
		Name: My DVB-T Tuner
		Has_Outputs: no
		Frontend_Device: 0

Found the problem, but don't find out how to fix it yet.

After an Ubuntu update, Ubuntu don't see my USB DVB tuner anymore.... :angry:
