is it possible to active and use numeric keypad in enigma2pc?

For what? What plugin requires this? I use LIRC and the numeric keys of the remote duplicate letters as in the original receiver.

is it possible to active and use numeric keypad in enigma2pc?

For what? What plugin requires this? I use LIRC and the numeric keys of the remote duplicate letters as in the original receiver.

I want to use numeric keypad of laptop keyboard for increasing speed. I don't have LIRC!

Does ANY LIRC work fine with enigma2pc?

notes in https://github.com/Raider05/enigma2pc:

2)
Some remote control keys are remapped to local PC keyboard

RED -> F1
GREEN -> F2
YELLOW -> F3
BLUE -> F4

VOL UP -> + (numeric pad) or +
VOL DOWN -> - (numeric pad) or -

NEXT CHANN. -> ARROW DOWN
PREV CHANN. -> ARROW UP
NEXT BOUQUET -> PAGE DOWN
PREV BOUQUET -> PAGE UP

EXIT -> ESC
MENU -> SPACE
INFO -> I or F5
OK -> ENTER

EPG -> E or F6
POWER -> F10
RECORD -> R
TV -> T
VIDEO -> V
AUDIO -> A
RADIO -> D
MUTE -> M
TIMESHIFT -> P

QUIT ENIGMA2 -> X
FULL SCREEN MODE -> F11

How we can change this keys? or remap ?

Yes of course. You need to buy a suitable remote and make the simplest IR-receiver on the COM port (internal). Then run the LIRC installation script and configure the buttons of remote.

How we can change this keys? or remap ?

rcxlib.cpp

Of course, it will be necessary to recompile enigma2, but manually.

If anyone has the opportunity to download the binary files of the teletext plugin from the receiver with Dream Multimedia firmware, then send me or give the link please. I'll try to decompile this plugin. As is known, its source is open only conditionally. Previously I read that this plugin doesn't use outdated tuxtxt.

I found the problem: There was an old automake package (with old aclocal) installed.

After I installed a newer one the compilation worked without problems!

Thanks everybody for helping!

Same here, it needs to install a newer one

No difference. Run /usr/local/e2/bin/autostart.sh as root or install 'classicmenu-indicator' and see 'enigma2' icons in 'Audio & Video' menu.

Please use search in the forum.

It’s long time ago that I used it. But in the past you had to execute it with root rights. It seems you start it without.

you can fetch the images here, they are .tar.xz, you can easilly extract the plugin with 7zip

https://dreamboxupdate.com/

the plugin TeleTxt is in extensions, .py code is free but this would be the problem

from enigma import Teletext as TeletextInterface

that is in enigma2 binary (core) what is closed source, means impossible

That is gettext itself, not the python library?

I am not an Ubuntu user, so I don't know what the installation procedure is, or how it is called. With pip, it is https://pypi.org/pro...python-gettext/.

That is gettext itself, not the python library?

I am not an Ubuntu user, so I don't know what the installation procedure is, or how it is called. With pip, it is https://pypi.org/pro...python-gettext/.

Now, I have first option to choose language, but after press ok, green screen:

After remove iptv player, too crash.
