Check if the /usr/local/lib/python2.7/dist-packages folder contains
*incremental*. I'm currently busy making changes e2pc for python3 and can't reply.

The problem is that in your map the first number is dvb-t, but not s2.
nim_sockets is located in the /proc/bus folder.
/proc/stb is a virtual file system in which all files have an apparent size of 0. They cannot be edited, but can be viewed in mc with the F3 key.

There is a very simple hack. Stop the module:

modprobe -r e2_procfs

After you generate nim_sockets in the way I mentioned above (edit it if necessary), copy this file to /opt and add to the file
/usr/local/e2/bin/autostart.sh after "#export DISPLAY=:0.0" the following line:

cp -f /opt/nim_sockets /proc/bus

Then, restart your PC.

I called my dvb card with an obscene word for verification and it worked. This way you can customize nim_sockets for yourself. Don't look it up in tuxbox anymore if the version is "procfs".
Run only the autostart.sh script. In the future, you can edit it in the original for yourself.

Hello everyone. I just installed E2 on Ubuntu 22.04 everything works fine but i have one little problem. I can scan watch TV but tuner says "No Signal!" "0%". Is there any solution for this issue? My card is Technisat Skystar 2 HD. Tuner STB0899.

If kernel driver always says s/n = 0% just disable the EncryptedChannel plugin. You can try building another driver.

I have installed openpli-pc on ubuntu 20.04 LTS, there did not appear to be any problem with the install, however on starting I get a black screen. I pressed F11 and the terminal says 'server does not have extension for -dpms option'. Possibly related as I am using a box with an intel igp, apparently I should  alter the xine config file to use opengl, but I have no idea how to do this despite much searching. (Sorry I am new to linux).

     

    Any help appreciated

ptergrand, was it working fine before? Are you sure that libdvbcsa was installed not from the repository, but from a git by script?

I also advise you to rescan all channels. There are no ideas yet.

Under the GPL, I can't ask for money and never have, but I want to ask for donations for the clonzilla e2pc.iso image. For example, like BM2LTS.

Unfortunately, vaapi in Ubuntu 23.04 does not work even with the original xine-lib-1.2.13 and xine-ui. I wrote to the mail list, but there was no response. So, if you want to help in the development of the project, then write to the developers as well. Let them fix the problem.
