Hi,

Before you start to scan your DVB-T tuner please be sure to have set proper scanning parameters otherwhise even if your tuner is properly recognised scan will failt with this error message.

If your DVB-T tuner is already working with another software write down all the information found while scanning with this software and insert the right parameters in OpenpliPC.

Hi, Betacentauri

Go on a patch that normally accommodates a mini window in the EPG for branch openpli_merge (works for me).

Ok, so both are configured for use. One thing that comes to mind is are the tuners always being loaded in the same order at boot? Is the DVB-S always adapter0 and the DVB-T always adapter1 or do they get reversed at times. Usually there is an adapter_nr= module option that you can specify for the bridge controller module that will force the tuner to go to the same adapter number all the time. I have two DVB-S2 pci cards and 90% of the time they load in the same order, but occaisonally they get reversed. I set these options and I no longer have a problem with that.

To check the order you can do....

$ dmesg | grep adapter

It'll show you which is adapter0 and which is adapter1 and what the bridge controller module is. If they are loaded in the correct order and you still have an issue then obviously there is some other problem.

Hi,

unpack the ipk and install the files manually there.
Simply rename your .ipk in .tgz or tar.gz and unpack it.

Hi,

OK I explain you how to manually install an ipk into OpenpliPC but it is not sure that the plugin will work. It will depend what plugin does and how it is developped.
In fact the main difference is also the path to access the file. It tries to access:
/usr/lib/enigma2/python/Plugins/Extensions/nStreamPlayer/MyriadPro-Regular.otf
this path is valid on a true E2 STB but with OpenpliPC the default install location is:
/usr/local/e2/lib/enigma2/python/Plugins/Extensions/nStreamPlayer/MyriadPro-Regular.otf

So in order to have standard E2 plugin to try to work on OpenpliPC we should perhaps play with fakeroot command to have plugin retrieving the path like on a normal E2 STB.

Hi,

Install openwebif on your OpenpliPC (simply run openpwebif.sh) and when your OpenpliPC is running the Openwebif is running too, so from there I think that you will be able to stream.

I think streaming from webif is just http, didn't notice any way to stream any other protocol.

To get plugins to work I've had to go through the code in the plugin in files and change any hard links to point to /usr/local/e2/ instead of just / and that works around the path problem that Pr2 mentioned. Probably will still be some plugins that just won't work though.

Hi yahoo123

Download file ftp://elcom.kaluga.ru/pub/downloads/e2pc-OpenPLi/OpenWebIf-27-04-2012.tar.bz2
and rewrite directory OpenWebIf in /user/local/e2/lib/enigma2/python/Plugins/Extensions
Restart enigma2 and went http://you_ip

@rijoma,

Don't use the script (it should be deleted from the git), simply launch OpenpliPC like you do when it starts well.

@Betacentauri,

Can you please delete the enigma2.sh script that is useless and indeed simply shutdown the PC.

Thanks,

Pr2

Hi together,

I have upgraded to Ubuntu 12.04. Here are some tips to get openpliPC working:
- At best start from scratch: Delete the whole openpliPC and clone git.

If you don't want to do this, try this:
- Make sure that you have installed automake 1.10
- Delete file engima2/py-compile (it will be automatically recreated)
- Delete all files in enigma2/lib/mmi/.deps and in enigma2/lib/python/.deps and in enigma2/lib/.deps
