hello, good job, there is a slight problem with the patch for lib-xine at least for me, it removes support for LATM AAC with ffmpeg.

can be solved?

Thank you very much.

@telping,

i have submitted a new xine-lib patch to git. It´s not activatet.
Checkout
change in build_libs.sh

xinelib_20111212.patch to xinelib_20111213.patch and rebuild.

When it´s ok i will activate the patch as default.

@subixonfire,

plugins in /usr/local/lib/enigma2/python/Plugins Extensions or SystemPlugins
skins in /usr/local/share/enigma2

sorry for the short answer.

Is there a way to add plug-ins/extensions/skins to this enigma...
A short howto would be greatly appreciated!
Or maybe just if someone points me in right direction?

Channels SD works very well but there is problem with HD channels - sound is chopping.

On channels SD buffer looks good:
...
net_buf_ctrl: vid 71% 2,0s 4752kbps 0, aud 8% 2,0s 448kbps 0, on
...

But on channels SD buffer if full on polish TVN HD is very choppy, but on Polish Canal+ HD works well...

...
net_buf_ctrl: vid 100% 1,0s 9040kbps 0, aud 0% 0,0s 320kbps 0, on
net_buf_ctrl: vid 100% 1,0s 9040kbps 0, aud 0% 0,0s 320kbps 0, on
net_buf_ctrl: vid 99% 1,0s 9032kbps 0, aud 0% 0,0s 320kbps 0, on
net_buf_ctrl: vid 100% 1,0s 9032kbps 0, aud 0% 0,0s 320kbps 0, on

...

My system is UBUNTU 10.04.3 desktop with newest compilation of xline lib (with today patch).

But this looks very very promising :)

@all,

I'm a PLi image fan and also a plugin developer. Currently I'm working on a new e2 Panel with "exclusive" features. One of them is copying EPG from a channel to another one on memory without XML files or any internet connection to rytec like servers. I'll release my panel in a month and share it with the PLi community.

CrossEPG plugin do this.
In the past I've added to CrossEPG the script capability (written with Python).
One script of mine included in CrossEPG is "alias" that copy EPG from one channel to another.

INFO
Yesterday nobody9 has applied my suggestion to change main install directory.

Now all Enigma2 files are installed under

/usr/local/e2/

Now it's simple to remove e2 :
sudo rm -Rf /usr/local/e2

See README for further infos.

I am trying to build the libs using build_libs.sh.
In a standard ubuntu desktop the following was mssing:
autoconf - "sudo apt-get install autoconf" solved it
libtool - "sudo apt-get install libtool" solved it
autopoint - "sudo apt-get install autpoint" solved it

Now it is looking for zlib - it is a bit more complicated as it has to be built: see here for good instructions to install

Now stuck: it requires libXext.
I get the following:

:~/openpliPC$ sudo find / -name libXext*
/usr/lib/libXext.so.6
/usr/lib/libXext.so.6.4.0
/usr/lib/libXext.a
/usr/lib/libXext.so

and
~/openpliPC$ ls -l /usr/lib/libXex*

-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 60024 2010-07-13 15:51 /usr/lib/libXext.so.6.4.0

I get this error:

checking for main in -lXext... no
configure: error: libXext is required

Now I am stumped as the file is there - is it a version issue?
Any help appreciated.
