Remove all ubuntu's xinelib. The archive has own(!) xinelib.
Copy patch for ubuntu 16.04_amd64 from  /patches to /enigma2pc.

patch -p1 < *.diff

Run scripts 1_ and 2_.
What do you see after that?

"No such file or directory". You didn't install anything during installation!

Remember that the compilation of any program for the first time may require internet connection to automatically install the needed packages.
Delete the folder enigma2pc, make sure that you have the internet, open terminal as root (sudo) and start again.

Well, let's try. I'm trying to fix teletext, but not yet obtained.

remains a problem with OSD refresh freeze on stream stop,  I modified currently Enigma to show logo on video stop

MPEG4 TV

subjectively better colors

faster video start

better audio start

MPEG2 TV

video - on  channels where it was before problem is OK

audio OK

Good news; I reinstall ubuntu 16.04 and enigma2pc was installed without error. But when I start enigma2 meniu is in russian language. I try to change, but I dont know how.

And when I try to exit from enigma I can't; just black screen and the mouse pointer. Only reset computer.

Hello, arsi. Perfectly. But for me xine-lib-1.2.6 works better(?). Maybe we need a new xine.conf.

bibic, open /usr/local/e2/etc/enigma2/settings. Look for "config.osd.language=ru_RU" and change: "config.osd.language=en_EN".

I strongly recommend first read the any forum about Enigma2 settings.

Unfortunately, in the xine-Lib 1.2.6 and 1.2.8 doesn't work timeshift. Press the yellow button and you will see.

On VAAPI I have a problem on both, and I found that on 1.2.8 during commercial breaks, the sound skips..

So I have a choice:

libxine repair

rewrite e2pc to vdr-plugin-softhddevice

the second option is more reasonable, but I am still at work :( and time is short

I think softhddevice is the best choice, but it is a titanic work.

Another moment... The Teletext works through the frame buffer, and I do not know how it will work here. I can make fix tuxtxtapp.cpp for compile on e2pc with tuxtxt plugin but that leads to crash when calling subtitles.
I can completely remove tuxtxtapp from e2pc, but then needed to look for something like this.
