The module is not ready yet. I wonder why I did not find a similar source from OpenPLi.

Hi, i'm aware that there is no PIP feature for e2pc but i gave QuadPip a try.
Only one channel is working however if i want to display 2 channels simultaneously e2pc will crash alhough i have a dual-tuner card.
Can someone explain if it will ever work or i should forget about it? :)

dvbdev.h is part of v4l-utils.

Currently in use: VU+ Duo 4K (2xFBC S2), VU+ Solo 4K (1xFBC S2), uClan Usytm 4K Ultimate (S2+T2), Octagon SF8008 (S2+T2), Zgemma H9.2H (S2+T2)

Due to my bad health, I will not be very active at times and may be slow to respond. I will not read the forum or PM on a regular basis.

Many answers to your question can be found in our new and improved wiki.

I think the problem is in the dvbsoftwareca-5x folder

in 4_build_openpliPC.sh ,I modified (cd../$CA- 5 x ) to (cd../$CA )

enigma2 is installed but i have other problems

I forgot that for some reason dvbdev.h is not part of the linux-headers package. But this and other headers are in the linux-source package. If necessary, all missing headers can be rewritten in linux-headers.
In the meantime, I just returned dvbdev.h to its original place.

All files inside folders must have 644 permissions. Everything works for me and I don't understand how you get such errors. Maybe you're not running with superuser rights?

What is this nonsense? Here must be: sh ./DEBUG_LVL_4.sh
Did you change the permissions of this file an to 644 and root? Maybe your ubuntu crashed?

But this is a completely different error! The OpenPLi developers changed Network.py. But recent versions of Ubuntu do not use the /etc/network/interfaces file and uses Network Manager. You created it like this:

# automatically generated by enigma2
# do NOT change manually!

auto lo
iface lo inet loopback

auto eno1
iface eno1 inet dhcp
udhcpc_opts -T1 -t9

Do not do this! If you restart your computer, then your network will not work at all. Accordingly, the program will not run without a network.

Delete this file or leave only:

auto lo
iface lo inet loopback

Restart PC аnd then the program will run anyway. Even if you unplug the network connector.

I replaced the share folder from the openpli 8 image and some things changed.

The program works without problems.

I didn't quite understand what you mean. Are you talking about the network interface?

Can you explain in more detail what I should do?
