I used DBedit and saved all my channels on my computer. Then after updating to PLi 2,1 I transferd them back, But how come it says n/a on all channels? After a search it's OK, but seaching takes a long time so I want to avoid that, if it's possible. What am I doing wrong? Anybody has a solution?

The best would be if I could make a FULL backup with skins, EPG, channels and so on. Is that possible?

use autobackup and activate autoinstall in it, saves all your settings, skins etc, and re-installs your plugins automatic new from feed.
it can make backups every night, on HDD CF or USB

Autobackup is good, but what if I want to install the channellist in another VU+ ?

I still get the n/a shit after transfering channellists from DBedit to receivers. What am I doing wrong?

Just restore it there (wipe out old backups first, the box will prefer to restore it's own backup). If the settings are different, just copy the files with FTP or so.

Apart from Autobackup and other things, the interesting thing is why your channel list does not work after OpenPLI update.
Has this happened to anybody else?
I am going to switch to OpenPLI from a different image and I am a bit worried that my own channel list could be gone.

The channellist with all the bouquets are visible, but it says n/a on all channelnumbers. But after a channelsearch, they are all back like they used to be.

I'm experiencing a similar issue: after flashing my ET5x00, I restored all my bouquets from an earlier backup. The result: everything appears grayed-out until I re-scan those channels. Is there a way to prevent this (quite annoying) workaround?

I have configured my tuner just as it was *before* restoring my bouquets. Should I do it the other way around?

I had flashed my box two months ago and back then I didn't experience any problem at all. unfortunately, I don't remember what order I followed.
