Hi Folks,

I am really frustrated. Last year I installed the first time OpenPli 2.0 on my Vu+ Duo. With a little effort I could also install my USB DVB-T Stick from Elgato. Till yesterday everything was fine, but due to a crash of my image I re-flashed it with the latest nightly build (28.November 2011) and I am not able to install the DVB -T Stick.

Can you help me? Which driver has to be taken?

Thanks and regards,

What's the chipset used by the stick (telnet to the box and check the dmesg output)?

Currently in use: VU+ Duo 4K (2xFBC S2), VU+ Solo 4K (1xFBC S2), uClan Usytm 4K Ultimate (S2+T2), Octagon SF8008 (S2+T2), Zgemma H9.2H (S2+T2)

Due to my bad health, I will not be very active at times and may be slow to respond. I will not read the forum or PM on a regular basis.

I took the DIB0700 driver and by checking the dmesg output I got this:

dib0700: loaded with support for 15 different device-types
dvb-usb: found a 'Elgato EyeTV DTT' in cold state, will try to load a firmware
dvb-usb: downloading firmware from file 'dvb-usb-dib0700-1.20.fw'
dib0700: firmware started successfully.
dvb-usb: found a 'Elgato EyeTV DTT' in warm state.
dvb-usb: will pass the complete MPEG2 transport stream to the software demuxer.
DVB: registering new adapter (Elgato EyeTV DTT)
DVB: registering adapter 1 frontend 65793 (DiBcom 7000PC)...
DiB0070: successfully identified
input: IR-receiver inside an USB DVB receiver as /class/input/input1
dvb-usb: schedule remote query interval to 50 msecs.
dvb-usb: Elgato EyeTV DTT successfully initialized and connected.
usbcore: registered new driver dvb_usb_dib0700
DVB: registering adapter 0 frontend 0 (DiBcom 7000PC)...

Is this correct? I did a search and could not find any channels. When importing my channels from backup than the channel can be viewed.

Have to pass this on to a specialist.

It striks me as odd that it registers the stick twice. Is there more related to the stick in the logs, after this snippet?

Currently in use: VU+ Duo 4K (2xFBC S2), VU+ Solo 4K (1xFBC S2), uClan Usytm 4K Ultimate (S2+T2), Octagon SF8008 (S2+T2), Zgemma H9.2H (S2+T2)
