Hi,

I downloaded the finnish channel list file rytec.channels-finland.xml.gz from one of your servers, but in my opinion the cable channel list is not up-to-date?
I´m using finnish Welho/DNA cable network and the current list of channels are listed as an attachment (si.xml). I know the file isn´t in the right format, but can you pick up the channels from it? Compared to your list for example Nelonen Sport does not exist anymore, some channels have changed its name and some new channels are missing for example SuomiTV HD, 4 Pro 1 HD and 4 Pro 2 HD.

Attached Files

  • Attached File  si.xml   113.88KB   6 downloads

I can find the right information now, but I have one problem: almost all the channels show 2 entries in the list only the channels namespace varies. For example for "Yle TV1" tv channel two rows exist:

#SERVICE 1:0:1:1:1:0:FFFF00EA:0:0:0:
#SERVICE 1:0:1:1:1:0:FFFF0000:0:0:0:

Which one is correct?

I do not know. When this happens we simply include both. It is not a big deal.

It may then be possible to install either;

Crossepg
ot
XMLTV plug-in

Both uses the rytec XMLTV sources.
XMLTV can be found here: rytec.be
Crossepg: http://code.google.com/p/crossepg/

Unfortunally, I do not use crossepg myself.
But from what I know from the program, you should be able to select the finish package in the setup somewhere, under XMLTV importers.

The cable channels are included in the channels file, together with the sat channels.

If you cannot select the finnish package, you will have to include it yourself.

But take a look here:
