Hi,

I've tryied to flash my dreambox 500hd with openpli 2.x beta and and then i found out that i need to flash the second stage loader here:

I would like to know how this is done.
I have found the *.nfi file for the second stage but how does the procedure work.
I don't have seriall cable or usb cable so i can not use DreamUp.

Could someone please write how to or steps to do it.
U guess alot of people are asking or wondering same thing.

You can flash it with webinterface - it is same as flashing new firmware.

I never used a 500HD, but I'll guess...

Shutdown the dreambox (remove power).

Press the standby/power button on the front of the DB on while you power up the 500HD (hold for 10 sec or so before releasing.

Point a browser @ your DB's IP and click the "update firmware" link.

Navigate to the 500hdSSL.nfi & "flash".

Let it reboot, then follow the procedure again to flash the actual OpenPLi image...
