I dont know, if is problem in old code too, but when length of label hide text in position, where is some nat.character (epg broadcasted as 2chars), then you can see:

I will take a look at that, any chance you can give me an example character code, to test with? Just to be sure I am testing the right thing.

It make "Use Long Title" set to False.

I was hoping to get these merged in to the PLi repo,

That can be done... but first it has to get out of the "beta" stage... and also e.g. picons from USB sticks and autoscale should work of course... So there is work to do I suggest.

Would someone be able to provide some support around autoscale? Or provide me with some further guidance on this?
i will look at the character encoding and picons from usb sticks ( I guess whatever is wrong here will also affect other mountable media )

If the picon is a ePixmap widget you can load and scale a picon with...

97 self.instance.setScale(1)
98 self.instance.setPixmapFromFile(pngname)

98 self.instance.setPixmapFromFile(pngname)

The picon is part of eListboxPythonMultiContent, which means it needs to be of type MultiContentEntryPixmap which doesnt seem to have a scaling option :(
Any idea how I could scale them in this way?

Which version have you tried, because the latest version with the changes for loading picons the way it does in Picon.py seems to work fine for loading from USB.
Could you provide some more details?

Would you be able to check if the title is correct when using long title?
Also could you provide your skin.xml for GraphMultiEpg?

I will not be able to test this on a receive for another week and my linux enigma2 seems to work all paths, so I can not reproduce this scenario :(
If you have any more details you could give me that may help that would be great, otherwise I will put this on the todo list for next week.

Picon scaling is now implemented, could you double check the usb picon problem on this one?

It make "Use Long Title" set to False.

it is in E2 ... short title in event[1] is made from long title in event[4], imho . When is worked with "2chars" national epg and 1st char is on end of created event[1] and 2nd char is over size (is not added ofcourse), it is displayed wrong.
There missing some function in E2 for this cases ... for replace this char on end event[1]t with space or zero.

The configs are not translatable.... please use _("....") in the strings there so that they can be configurable...

In addition it may be more logical to add the settings on the menu button instead of a separate blue button... These are just my suggestions.... ;)

Red and Green - both are for Timer ?

How will be it with ZAP over OK: ZAP in PIG only or ZAP+close MEPG ? Or Zap+Close under Red and Timer under Green, f.eg, ?

When I select 5 channels in the overview the Picons do not get bigger.... I suggest because it is limited by width,,, probably something that may remove this width.... ;) The scaling is great and in fact a must!! Good job... Now it needs just a few adjustements...

Well right now as you have seen its zap only.
I was thinking of having something for zap and close and something for just zapping with out closing, but I am not sure of the best buttons for this.
Also I thought to make it if you press ok a second time on an already playing channel that this screen closes, but this may not be what everyone expects to happen here.

Here is an updated version, which should hopefully fix the multi byte short title issue (This part needs testing)
Also included some button reordering

The config options are already set using a form like this

self.list.append(getConfigListEntry(_("Scale Picon"), config.misc.graph_mepg.scalePicon))
Do I need to change something else so they can be translated?

Changes
----------------

Potential fix for incorrect short title being displayed due to multbyte encoding
Remove label from blue key
Allow setting border size for the timeline
Remove green button and change setup to use the menu button
