Does anyone here use Sherlock plugin?
I used it with a different image before but now I have just switched to OpenPLi and it does not work correctly. I downloaded it from the list of packages generated by OpenPLi so plugin version should be OK, I guess. The plugin works but in the middle bottom of the screen it used to show audiobitrate and videobitrate. It does not show these values on OpenPLi.
Any help?

I have found the latest version of this plugin: enigma2-plugin-extensions-sherlock_7.2_mipsel.ipk
Tried to install it locally from tmp folder but the report after installation said that 0 packets were installed. :(
Any ideas?

Thanks DIma73. I'll try that.

As regards my previous question:

I agree but the version downloaded from PLI server together with PLi_bitrate.zip works OK. :)

replace in
/usr/lib/enigma2/python/Plugins/Extensions/Sherlock/PLi_bitrate
right 755

I guess it should also work for ET9000. And it works but the video bitrate keeps disappearing and appearing back. The audio bitrate stays on all the time.

this one works without returning stuttering/disappearing video values with OpenPLi 3.0

like above,
replace in
/usr/lib/enigma2/python/Plugins/Extensions/Sherlock/PLi_bitrate
right 755

Thanks Bernado.
I guess ET9000, as opposed to DM800se, does not indicate temperature?

Unfortunately it keeps disappearing.

I'm using it on ET9000 with OpenPLi 3.0

Does anyone else have the same problem?

I is hard to fix as this plugin is closed source... I suggest it is better to look for an alternative...

Does anyone know of any good alternatives showing both audio/video bitrates as well as available CAID's, control words, temperature, etc.?

Sherlock hasn't been compatible with PLi for years. Best would be to remove the plugin from the feeds.

Hi!
I use it with my dreambox and it works nicely. A very useful plugin.

OK, let me differentiate: it should be deleted from the feeds of the Xtrends & VU's, as it is not compatible with those boxes (maybe the TPM-check?).

Yes, I can see  bitrate  and birateviewer.

Does anyone know which is better? Any advantages of one over the other?

Hey! I have both them installed.
Blue button + select "Bitrate Viewer" opens it with the results.

Why would you need both?

In your opinion, which is better? bitrate or bitrateviewer?
