I need a little more help.

I have tried all of the following without success

In Blue Button :- PLi Image Setup Set :- EPG settings

EPG data store : SQLite database

SqLite EPE Location : Custom Location

SqlLite EPG Location : /mnt/usb/sqlite (use the remote to edit)

Restarted Enigma :- epg.db was created at /mnt/usb/sqlite

Viewed the data, but it did not appear to be data used by multi epg.
Question where is the source data that epg.db created from ?

mplug.dat is loaded of the internet 7.5 meg to /mnt/usb/sqlite : then converted to mplug.xmltv.cfe

Tried multiepg no change now and next only. Restarted enigma no difference.

My existing setup’s use dat or xmltv

When MV accesses mplug.xmltv.cfe or mplug.dat for the first time it creates two other files.

mplug.xmltv.cfe.idxc - mplug.xmltv.cfe.idxe or mplug.dat.idxc - mplug.dat.idxe

Changed SqlLite EPG Location to match the MV location and used mplug.dat

/mnt/usb/mv/mplug (use the remote to edit) it refused to accept the as a ligitamate location. It would not save.

So I copied the working MV files to /mnt/usb/sqlite

mplug.dat - mplug.dat.idxc - mplug.dat.idxe

Still no difference :- now and next only. Restarted enigma no difference.

I believe I am missing something fundamental

a) For multi epg to create epg.db it must have had some source data to alter (The original EPG data)?.

If I delete epg.db from mnt/usb/sqlite multi epg works in the same way. Just now and next. Multi epg can not be using epg.db. On an Enigma re-start epg.db is re-written to mnt/usb/sqlite

Some more guidance would be appreciated

Enigma fills the database with any EPG data it captures from the stream. So at least you should have now/text information in the database.

Does Mplug support the SQlite database format? I don't think so.

Therefore I suggested not to use Mplug anymore, but use the Dreambox EPG plugin from our downloads. That does support the SQLite db, and works perfectly with both radiotimes as with any xmltv (wolf_nl is included as an example) file. I've got it running on my boxes, 7 days SKY EPG, no problem. SQLite becomes a bit sluggish with that much data, but we're working hard to resolve that issue.

With our plugin you don't need any MV or other import configurations anymore. They no longer do the import. When you have our plugin running, you can remove all MV config, it is useless with a SQlite db.

The only advantage I can see with mv is that it seems to auto generate listings for some +1 channels that aren't listed on radiotimes (itv2+1 paramount+1 sci fi+1 etc) but hopefully this can be added to multi epg soon.

Download the Plugin :- Dreambox EPG

In var/bin edit rt_uk.sh and point to the correct epg.db location

“epg=/mnt/usb/sqlite/epg.db”

Yellow button to Dreambox EPG Config

Set Package to Radio Times

Green Button to Channels & Map up the channels in that Bouquet

Yellow Button to retrieve the data

Set the CRON time for your daily down load

In MV input Config make sure you are set to Enigma Cache.

  We are sorted :- full epg in Mulit (PiG) EPG and MV EPG

Excuse me, I am newbie in DB. I am flash PLi firmware. It is very nice, but some little bugs:

1) is not menu for setting of rotor

2) doesnt work "time start/stop" offsets for Timer, when is timer fill from WWW-EPG ( nothing offsets added ) . From box it works well. Can be it repaired ?

1) Yes there is.
When you have choosen for rotor setup, you have to exit the menu and re-enter it.
This is thone, because when there is no rotor setup, there has no rotor-menu to be visible.

2) Never tried the www-epg

- Moved scale/noscale function from 'ok' button to 'help' button. Leaving it on 'OK' seems to unscale images directly...

Where I can change color of Timeline in EPG from yellow to different collor ?
Or to change white text. I am very bad to read the numbers of clock in this timeline, when it is white in yellow..

I tried all possible skins, but in all is yellow-white timebar in EPG (red button). I cannot find, where it is possible to change. Can You tell me, which parameter is for this bar ?

I think, this is set in PLi.

One question - where I can replace "Genre:" with "-" in WWW Full EPG ? In Channel EPG I made it, but for Full EPG I didnt to find, where. ( I found it, but this has no effect ).

The fix for this is currently on the download server; if you download the latest menu in Software Management, it wil be applied autmatically.

When I am using WWW interface - full EPG - there is all OK in czech. But channel EPG is in magyar. (f.eg. Discovery CE on Astra 19,2E) . Where I can change it in source code ?
