.i have the latest pli image on a et5000.
I have now cccam installed with a C line and a N line and works but i would like to change it to mgcamd
Can someone please guide me through how to setup mgcamd to work?

I prefer OScam.
OScam is compatible with mgcamd, CCcam and other cams.
You can get OScam from the pli feed. (check oscam page in the wiki)

Dreambox Dm8000 with all hardware addons donated to OpenPli. No interests anymore in policy of CanalDigitaal / M7 group and now-a-days channel encryption (like CI+ / HD+).
Good luck Enigma2 / OpenPli, it was fun with Sky Movies and so on, collected a nice collection of movies. Now back to basic boring lineair TV with KPN iTV (VDSL2 pair bonding 219 / 63 Mbps).
The VDSL pair bonding is excellent for... torrents to NAS in higher quality then HDTV (Like Dolby-TrueHD or DTS-Master-Audio soundquality )

i connect to a friends server and i encoutered some slow zap problems and he told me to change to mgcamd.
is oscam going to work the same as mgcamd?
