Hi
I was about to upgrade to latest version of OpenPLi. In the download section, I can only find the nightly builds like. OpenPLi-2.1-beta-dm800-20111223.zip
Are there no stable versions, for example a version 2.0? Or do everybody just use the latest nightly build and hope for the best?

regards
Lemme

we stopped releasing stable versions
it costs us too much time

just flash our beta image
when we/our users notices problems we set a warning at the download page

when we set the warning you will see a notice also at the online update menu

on the Glassfibre 1GB DVB-C...

I found this information under http://openpli.org/n...mental-images/:
"When the 3.0 images are at beta stage you need to reflash, you can not upgrade to 3.0 from earlier versions."

Is is possible to upgrade between dirrerent builds?

Yes, in general within the same version number you can update from the box (either via the menu or on the commandline using 'opkg update && opkg upgrade').

For alpha versions we don't guarantee that, as work on the operating system might cause incompatibilities.

Currently in use: VU+ Duo 4K (2xFBC S2), VU+ Solo 4K (1xFBC S2), uClan Usytm 4K Pro (S2+T2), Octagon SF8008 (S2+T2), Zgemma H9.2H (S2+T2)

Due to my bad health, I will not be very active at times and may be slow to respond. I will not read the forum or PM on a regular basis.
