Cannot make backup

this is more or less normal. Backup tries to backup all important files and the WLan settings are important. Because you have no WLan in use the backup program cannot find the corresponding files.
Missing mkfs.jffs2 is a bit more serious. I think you must install mtd-utils for that.

Ralf, thank you for your reply I am not using Wlan, I am using a wired connection but I have got wireless USB stick, do you want me to use wlan connection and try to backup again? Also what is mtd-utils, could you please explain
Write this into terminal/telnet
mount -t jffs2 /dev/mtdblock2 /boot
Than try again to do the backup.
Jahu, thank you man for the tip I gave the command thru TelNet as you can see from the attached picture and restarted my machine but did not work, same issue, any else idea?

I really thank you all, with your help here I managed to start using E2 supported DCC at the end I am an owner of Clone DM800.
And after installing dflash, I was able to backup my image without any problem. Now I am enjoying my image
Again, many thanks all of you, I learnt a lot here.

I am asking about thru software management with remote like in the past and you are replying about DCC
Oh sorry, yes after installing Dflash, a spesific command appreas in the settings and I used this as well, it's sussessfully backing up image without any problem. You can manage backup save folder in the settings but If not, default path is : /media/hdd/backup

When i try make backup from menu software management, i get this:
...
Tar just complains that it couldn't find all the specified files (I guess the backup is just outdated). This does not mean total and utter failure - the backup file is probably just there, and can be restored.
For OpenPLi backup, I strongly advise using AutoBackup (it's in the Applications), which does a better job.

If the NAS is mounted/accessible via /hdd then it should be no problem. Just choose Backup to HDD/USB, but I reckon you already tried this.
Have you updated the BackupSuite to 9.1?
Please post the outcome of the following commands in telnet
mount
and
df -h
