yes as andy said, the fact that there is a 3.1.1 in the file name means there for the 3.1.1 kernel.

It is a matter of principle.

If a hardware manufacturer or vendor wants OpenPLi to provide support for their hardware (with the sole purpose of boosting the sales), they have to do the work.
Alternatively they can ask us to do it for a considerable donation. ;)

Currently in use: VU+ Duo 4K (2xFBC S2), VU+ Solo 4K (1xFBC S2), uClan Usytm 4K Pro (S2+T2), Octagon SF8008 (S2+T2), Zgemma H9.2H (S2+T2)

Due to my bad health, I will not be very active at times and may be slow to respond. I will not read the forum or PM on a regular basis.

i can't see how, as iupdate my git all you would have to is pull changes. but your choice.

well if that is what you think of your users, if i where them i would be really annoyed with you. so much for doing it as a hobby and not wanting financial gain.

I has to do with the fact that VU+ think they can increase their christmas bonus by having us do all the work.

Either they care about their customers, and do the work, or they don't, in which case we will advice users not to buy their hardware anymore if they want to use OpenPLi, as there is no manufacturer support.

It is that simple. It has nothing to do with financial gain (on our side).
