Please change your settings or scan a transponder by your self... just to exclude settings. Here it is working as a charm.....

YEHAAAAAAAAA.....

I finaly succeded :)
Before I uploaded my old channel list, and everything was fooked.
Now I made a scan from scratch, and Pli image is now acting exactly as I prefer it, with subtitles in my own language.
THANKS guys, for all your patience with us.

This image realy kicks ass :)

I honestly dont know.
Could it be from DVB-C channels in channel list ?
I use same channel list for my DM800 and my DM8000.

But I am very happy that we found the solution.
Now I can realy play with your image, which I find very nice.

will result be the same if I just rescan transporders in order to avoid making a new channel lists or is it must to scan from scratch with empty list?

Does this mean you "cant" use ready channellists made by the enthusiastic E2 guys around or download lists from kingofsat.net with Dreamset etc?

What might be the reason for subtitles behaving this way, wrong channel data somehow?

The only cure is to scan satellites? Seems daft.

But i am happy one way of curing these symptoms has been found.

I have now done some more tests.

After Raitsa and I talked in IRC, I desided to check how this error comes.
So I toke a backup of the WORKING channel list by use of Dreamset, which is my prefered editor.
I then flashed my box again, and this time I didnt scan sat, I just send my backup of channel lists back with Dreamset Editor.
Again I now had DVB, and it wasent working at all with my own language as auto subtitles.

So it seems like Dreamset is to blame for all the errors.

PiratDK and me started suspecting Dreamset since we both use that editor for our channellists.

I sent some feedback to the Dreamset creator, lets hope he comes by and reads this topic and hopefully figures out something that might help curing this issue.

Agree, here I'm using Dreamset editor as well so it might be the cause of the problem.

Then I suggest dreamset is setting the parameter for subtitles to some kind if default that a DVB subtitle is prefered on any channel with PID 0.... PLi will always put a selected subtitle to the subtitle list to allow to program it off even when it is not on the currently available on that channel (known as the RTL-7 NL bug more then a year ago where we hat fixed letters in this case from the teletext buffer).

I think it's the "settings list" that f*cks up. I hate these. You'd best scan everything yourself, no chance of getting bits that are simply wrong or incompatible with the rest of your setup.

Now things come clear. I did not have this problem with the settings of Satje07, downloadable on sat4all. But things went wrong with Hans and Henk settings for instance. It really is a shame because those ready listst are great to see.....

not sure if you are right. My channels are all scanned but sorted out by dreamset. So it seems like it is dreamset which is causing the problems.
maybe also hans and henk setting has been sorted/imported with dreamset.

Latvian language code is "lav" and not "lat". You can verify it at lib/python/Tools/ISO639.py . "lat" is for Latin language. Please apply following patch to fix auto language selection for Latvian language (unfortunately I am not allowed to attach this diff as a patch).
