Cant get dreamset to work

nonenone's Photo nonenone 30 Dec 2006

Hi

I can't get the dreamset plugin to start in new Garnet img. I get this error msg when I try to start it from yellow button menu libstdc++.so.5: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory. I did an ftp search on the 7020, and I can only find: libstdc++.so.6 and libstdc++.so.6.03

Is there any way to get the plugin started?:smt017

what does this plugin do? I seems it is not in the default download list.
Apperantly it is an old plugin as it uses libc__.so.5.
It probably will work fine after arebuild against the newer libraries. If you can get hold of soruces for this plugin we will probably be able to genearate an uptodate version of it....

It is a really good satfinder plugin, and settings editor for the dreambox.. This is the homepage: http://mmedit9800.tr...gi-bin/index.pl

I mainly use the satfinder, because it can be used on a laptop, so you can have the laptop next to you when you adjust the lnbs. You can set the update time really high, so that every adjustment you make to the lnb is shown in the satfinder. Which makes it really accurate.

ok. I guess you need to upgrade to the latest dreamset version then. I cannot fully test it as I don't use mswindows . And using it with wine under Linux doesn't work well... But I did verify the plugin in the 2.10 release does use the so.6 library.

in the Blue Button PLi Setup - Pli Image Setup - Extra OSD Settings

you can switch the signalview from % to dB

this affects the skin and satfinder in the WebIf

Thx Hermetje, I had forgotten about that one. The satfinder on tv seems to lock up after a few seconds.

Hopefully I will get my lnb's right so that I can see what else is new on this img :)
