So you have firstly to install it. Choose Download Plugins and then look for it in system plugins section. Then install OSD3DSetup and after that replace the file as described previously.

I have done this but nothing appears.I am using this openpli version

You have an old kernel but I don't think that's the problem.
Check fo files if they are present on your box:
/proc/stb/fb/3dmode
/proc/stb/fb/znorm
I there aren't any, please check:
/proc/stb/fb/primary/3d

There is only /proc/stb/fb/primary/3d

Ok, that explains why you can't use the plugin. I think I'll be able to alter my solution to work on your box but I'll need some information. I suppose the 3d file sets 3d mode and zoffset is designed for setting 3D depth. Does anybody know the proper values?

I prepared a new version with some new functionalities. This time it should be working also on your box, luis67 - dreambox 500 hd. Please check and report.
I implemented a kind of messagebox (koivo suggestion), too. Time for user confirmation is settable in plugin configuration screen. "0" means no confirmation. 3D remains on till next event / choosen channel where there iis no "3D" in channel name + event title combination.

Could someone please give me the link to OSD3DSetup repository on GIT? I would like to upload my changes there but I didn't succeed to find it by myself...

Plugin is not ok with ET9000 The OSD menu doesn't change back and I see now after I leave a 3d channel 2 menu's on my TV
Auto funktions by my even not good anymore and now I need to set the plugin on off to get best preformance.

Hmm works good at the ET9000. The 3D confirmation display is a great idea.
The plugin switch also automaticaly back to 2D mode if i change the channel. Looks good.

I'm a little bit worried, that there are some problems with this plugin... I'll need more detailed description to reproduce this behaviour. Perhaps screenshots presenting OSD3DSetup configuration screen and two menus in the screen. Carl, could you provide it? Could you also describe what were you doing when those menus appeared?
I noticed a small bug by myself - you were not able to exit confirmation screen - now it will be possible.

I have tried this,works but when i want to pass through dts receiver for 5.1 channels sound remains stereo.

Not all users will understand how it works.

Hello, I think there is something wrong in de auto part. I need to install everything again and test what wenn happens.

Can someone explain what znorm is doing? With my ET9000 I see not yet why this must been set.

Znorm is a parameter responsible for 3D depth. Depending on the value the effect is shifted forward or backward and more dynamic.

Please find the file with small fix - due to skin changes descriptions were not displayed any more.
Addtionally I've prepared git pach. It seems that I cannot push it by myself.
I'm also going to prepare an ipk file.
