Today i noticed that when my receiver wakes up from standby, there is no sound. I need to press mute button on VU+ remote and then mute button again, and sound reappears. This started today with new image - 3.1.1 kernel. Driver problem?

Well, I had this problem just a few times in the past but never seen it anymore. But I use the scart plug and that may not be the same set-up as yours.

I discovered why i have no sound.
Nova-T stick is the problem! When i instal kernel-module-dvb-usb-dib0700 package and restart the receiver i get NO SOUND after standby. When i uninstall these drivers, everything is OK.
What should i do know to debug this? Enigma 2 log, dmesg ....??

DVB-T support for DUO is completely messed up. You cant install drivers from feed because it wants to install old v4l modules. Nova-T doesnt work properly when you install this stick manually etc.
Someone from PLi team should take a look at these issues because in pre-kernel 3.1.1 image version everything worked ok.
I would go back to old image but then i wouldnt be able to update image with latest features.
On ET-XXXX boxes everything works just great, i am using Nova-T stick on ET-5000 without any issues.

A workaround: rename /et/modutils/dvb_vuplus to /etc/modutils/01dvb_vuplus, execute update-modules, and reboot. That should fix things.
The cause of the problem is that the drivers for the usb dvb sticks are loaded before the vuduo drivers. The drivers are listed in separate files in /etc/modutils. These files are examined in alphabetical order. By renaming the dvb_vuplus file, you ensure that the drivers for the vuduo are loaded first. In case of the ET-XXXX boxes, the drivers are loaded first because the file listing the drivers starts with a '_'.
