@devs: there are some issues with the default skin displaying Hungarian text, have a look here.

you must translate it economically... I must make same for my language.

For dish you can use (used web translator) f.eg:

from:  -től

to: on

Not possible, as -től must be put after the value you're referring to. It looks really dull then. Devs either have to put the field after the value, which would not suit other languages. Or even better, make the field contain the variable like "Form %d" and that would allow any language to use any position (that could be indeed "%d-től") - in many cases we have this option, but in many others not.

Same issue with the Sleeptimer functions. In English the sting says "Go to sleep after" + "15 mnutes". While in Hungarian it would be correct "Elalvás" + "15 perc" + "után" so there would be needed 3 strings added to each other not only 2 as in English.

But the general issue is that many text fields should be simply 30%-50% wider, and we could then accept many compromises, they would just fit in.

All of the above done now. So you see, patience is rewarding :)

Except for the following posts:

#656 and part of #658: I do not have EPGimport so was unable to apply these patches.

#659: attachment only contained a .mo file. We cannaot deal witht that. @Andy1: please create a .po file

#663: @doglover: the patch was not complete and had strange binary characters at the beginning. So could not apply it.

#669: @Taapat: this one did not apply correctly. Probably because I applied the the one in #653 before that.

General remarks:

1 PLEASE PLEASE use git to create your patches. If you are able to edit a .po file you sure should be able to
also use git to create the patch file. It has beenmentioned enough in this thread. Most are update request are already in git patch format but still a couple of them are not. In the future I will skip non-git patches (e.g. full .po files).

2 When you post a new version of your language updates that supersedes a previous post you made, please edit the previous post

(remove the attachment and state a newer verison is availabel in post xxx),  or if you cannot edit a post, clearly state in the new post that previous post xxx should be ignored.

would not be better actualise/generate all .po before translating ?

Maybe enough is added to the pot file, which is regularly updated?
Then, each translator can merge it with his language files before translation, and update it, if find new or unnecessary entries.

Hi!
Many thanks.
They are missing for me on 'et' po and I do not know how I can somehow add them:
Show latest commits on sourceforge
Mount again
MountManager
Show picons in channel list
Customize channel list cursor behavior
Keep service+Reverse bouquet buttons

Soon more the translation of Estonian language, and thank you in advance for our rimas whose Vix work I also got and I use several translations in the future PLI translation.
