Hi to all and happy new year
I was always using PLI images in my 7020S
Till now I was using Flash Wizard 6.3 to backup the image I use in the USB or in CF
I tried with PLI Garnet and it is not working
Has anyone has a solution?

If you telnet to the box and given the 'ls' command, do you sees slashes (/) behind directory names? If so, try editting the /.profile file and change the

alias ls='ls -CF'

to

alias ls='ls -C'

Thsi might help on flashwizard problems.
Geen wonder... Had slechts een dm7000, maar wel ook een rotor. eigenlijk al een tijdje ook een dm600 en dm7025. Maar nu kijkend met een et9000 en vuduo

I had the same problem when I had the latest boxman image in flash memory I changed back to the latest official dream multimedia image and now the flash wizard pro 6.3 backup works fine. I am using a 1 gig cf card for my mulitboot but should not make any difference between the cf card or the hdd.

Hi thanks for the answer
In my profile file I have
alias ll='ls -al'

If I telnet ls I see in all at the end the /

/bin
/etc
/media

and so on
I had mentiond when I run flash wizard at menu Install or remove software
at the end of all lines of the images I have in flash or Usb i see /
Why?
Please tell me in what to change the alias line

My is
alias ll='ls -al'

leotzian: do not look at the ll alias, but at the ls alias. Please reread my previous post tosee what you need to change.

Only since Garnet we distribute a .profile. It is located in the root directory. If you telnet to your box and do

cd /
ls -a

you shoudl see a .profile
