ET9000 can decode scrambled IPTV streams. Dm8000 not...
Is it posible to tell the dn8k to descramble also over the dvr device?
I'm not doing anything nonstandard here, only using linuxtv / dvb api stuff.
So it should have worked on any e2-capable device, there are no hardware specific requirements.
If it doesn't work, that's probably a driver limitation.

What do they have to add in their driver that it will work? I have a contact at dmm, I´ll ask them.

I guess the same would work on pli too, but i see one BIG problem. We cannot use EPG system on these channels, i am right? Stream looks like this:
#SERVICE 1:0:1:1:0:0:0:0:0:0:http%3a//xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx%3aXXXX/udp/239.1.1.115%3a5000
Is there a possibility for EPG on these channels? I know that service id is the problem here...

Hi Guys,
Taykun: try HRT1 or HRT2 in your T2 network, you will see that EPG works perfectly for p/f EPG data over IPTV.
For me it works!
The only thing which does not work is, if I open up the Channellist, the available p/f data is not displayed even it is/was available. Means the data is not cached.
But so far I have to thank the great OpenPLi work, that it works as it works! FTA & scrambled IPTV works like a charm!

A question:
Is this implemented or working in a pli for VU-duo?
I have a e2-box whit legal card and ip:192.168.1.8, for view in a second e2 box whit pli (VU-duo) in streaming and whithout card and whithou emu, the sintax example in userbouquet tv on a VU-duo is this?:
#SERVICE 257:0:0:0:0:0:0:0:0:0:http://192.168.1.8:8001/1:0:19:5230:C99:3:EB0000:0:0:0: Ned 3
Is the 257 for all enrypted system?
Is possible like this sintax in userbouquets tv view a IPTV channels sending of satelite directly in a VU-duo, whithou a PC?
Another question,
For example in hispasat 30º W, have transpoders sending channels that not sintonice and nothing appers in a list of channels, beacouse this channels have a special scrambled data streaming that e2 not recognice,
We in a pc descrambling this channels and view this channels, this channels are a DTT spanish channels sending of satellite for people that not take a terrestrial signal of this dtt channels. Whit a special box this people sintonice and view this channels for satellite.
Is possible adapting or modiffi e2 for sintonice and view this channels?,
If your need I send your watts I descramble in a pc this channels for your loock if is possible modifiying e2 for work in standard e2 box, like VU-duo or similar.
Liake I say, the people withou terrestrial dtt signal, whit a simple but special box for this, he sintonice and view this channels.
This is any transponders:

Sorry for the many question, but this is a very very interesting, beacouse say the friend dam72 this have more future.
Thank your and regards

let me answer for Pieterg, I hope this is ok.
If you use the latest updates in OpenPLi this new service type 257 should work for you.
Yes, this 257 is universal for all CA ssystems, because it´s parsing only the PMT for ECM PIDs.
Your TV service should look like that:
#SERVICE 257:0:0:0:0:0:0:0:0:0:http%3a//192.168.1.8%3a8001/1%3a0%3a19%3a5230%3aC99%3a3%3aEB0000%3a0%3a0%3a0: Ned 3
#DESCRIPTION Ned3
Keep in mind, the Box which is sending the stream, must insert also the ECMs! If you use the latest OpenPLi on the streamning box, you can enable in Customize menu of e2 to send ECM via httpsrc. If you receive such a stream, you can descramble it loacally.
You are talking about the Transponder Encryption (the whole transponder mux is one data stream and this is scrambled) of Abertis Feed for DVB-T. So far I know, this is not possible on e2.

no it´s not that easy. First you must desrcamble the whole TS, app. 38 MBit/s within this stream you have 2 DVB-T Muxes. That´s used for DVB-T Feeds over satellite. Once you descramled the whole TS, there are many TV services without encryption FTA.
As far as I know, Abertis is using Cisco equipment for scarmbling the whole TS.

That´s a IPTV sample containing present/following information
Ok, thats great, but without proper EPG, iptv on E2 is kinda useless. For me atleast.

I think step by step. It´s a great thing that we can use IPTv on e2, in FTA and scrambled way. EPG p/f shouldn´t be the problem, it´s working already. I don´t know how link epg.dat data with the IPTV services. To import data into the epg.dat shouldn´t be aan issue. See CrossEPG. Here Pieterg must give the answer!

The iptv of internet and of another e2 box, work perfect.
Dear dam72, your receive the iptv channels of sat directly in a tuner dvbs2 of a e2 box, for example VU-duo?, it`s possible this?
Another question that I thing is similar of this tread.
The last "black hole 1.7.1 tuner server", he utilice a mediatomb to server channels via streaming, and is posible view this channels in a devices with dlna/djimount and upnp, for example another box linux with djmount, ps3, android moviles, I don´t know iphones, but not in a TV with dlna, for example samsumg, sony, etc., your know for what is not possible view the channels in a TVs with dlna?
In this dlna TVs, if possible view films, music, etc, of the PC with linux or windows, of ps3, etc.,
Is possible that not work for a sintax of a server channels of the e2 box, or for a not good config of a mediatomb?
Your know a possible solution for this?.
Thank your friends for your help.

Hi,
thanks to ET team or OpenPLI I don´t know whom to thank!
Since the update today, IPTV works perfectly again! No Audio issue anymore!
Really cool!
the next stage would be to able to decode a scrambled DVB IP stream coming from a satelitte feed.
I have a distrubution with DVBlast I forward TV services from a Astra 19.2 DVB-S2 Transportstream 1:1 as a single SCPC IP Multicast into my network. When I take ORF1 HD I also have a ECMs in this stream, wouldn´t it be possible to decode this IP stream lika a usual TV service coming from Tuner, e.g. with softcam when having the appropriate SC?
Hello Dam72
Could you please confirm the OpenPLI version which fixed the Audio Issue on IPTV channels?
I have the latest version and there is no audio on some channels or the audio is not synchronised with the video.
thanks
myoko
