Is this "buffer=X" option appended to url really work? Is this a way to pass any value to playbin2? Or is it some special tag parsed by enigma2?

edit:
to me it seems to just do nothing other than braking my url.

I tried a URL with buffer=1 to my local apache2 to see what it is actually requested (log from apache2 access.log):
10.55.1.31 - - [25/Nov/2012:12:52:25 +0200] "GET /test%20buffer=1 HTTP/1.1" 404 491 "-" "Enigma2 Mediaplayer"

So, does this buffer=1 really work? It seems it is just requested as part of the url.
This was the test service

Hi all.

So i tested streaming trough bouquet again but with 4097 in front and i can say it works with authentication!!!

http://login:password@website.com WORKS!!!

So basically my only issue at the moment is only the audio delay (out of sync audio).

If i create a stream without 4097 in front then the stream opens directly without audio delay but then i get hickups.

Is there a way i can force audio sync or something?

Sorry my english (google translator in some sentences)

I found a solution to record IPTV (SOME channels) using nstreamvod (dreambox 800se).

See (click to show full image):

I installed the plugin, the bin (rtmpgw) and script (rtmpgw_cam.sh) to start.

The recording is good (.mp4) and I see that the problem the delay (some channels) is of OpenPLi because VLC on the pc with the same file recorded plays 100% (no delay and some source).

The plugin supports playlist.m3u (EXTINF), rstp, rtmp, http (tested these protocols) but does not play mms. I do not know why.

At the moment, I'm testing. I only posted that works.

Now, I'm recording 1 (one) IPTV channel and watching other/second channel (tv or IPTV).

But I have a problem with stop rtpmgw. Only stop recording if I restart the box (when restart gui the file is running and recording). I don't know about scripts, but is necessary modify stop the bin file when exit the plugin by remote control.

Offer on an occasion of use of Buyukbang Panel Plugin certainly exit.  But it is far from an ideal.  It is inconvenient to compare channels in bouquets.  As far as I understood all problem in automatic comparison of EPG consists in that that it isn't possible to hammer into a bouquet for example #SERVICE 1:0:1:4E8A:14:70:0:0:0:0:http%3a//192.168.1.1%3a81/udp/224.1.1.241%3a6000:rossiya HD and respectively it isn't possible to compare on SID.  As will work in the current version of image only
#SERVICE 1:0:1:0:0:0:0:0:0:0:http%3a//192.168.1.1%3a81/udp/224.1.1.241%3a6000:rossiya HD
In versions to 20120809 after a patch of SID it was possible to use, now why that isn't present. I am afraid that except authors of this nickname won't correct.

While watching timeshift buffer of an iptv stream (a ts stream with service reference 1:0:1:0....http://....) no audio was present. In live mode audio is present. Main issue is that service reference has no service id (or better service id = 0). I think that it's quite normal, because not everybody knows what service id (program number) is used in a stream.

In pmt.cpp PATready the comparision eServiceID((*program)->getProgramNumber()) == m_reference.getServiceID() is made. This is always false, because program numbers(=service ids) are > 0. Result is that cached pids are used and in this case audio pid is not cached, because it is AAC (only mpeg and AC3 pids are cached).
In live mode audio is present, because in pmt.cpp in function tuneExt tstools.findPMT is called and it finds a pmt packet and adjusts service id.

So I see 3 solutions:
1. Let the user specify a proper service reference.
2. Cache audio pids for all audio streamtypes.
3. If service id is 0 then use one of the programs out of pat packet.

1 is not always possible for "normal" users. 2 should work, but solves not the real problem. So I think implementing 3 is a good solution. Here is a patch for it.

I write it here, because in post #125-#132 there was already a discussion about this. And the mentioned patch in post #122 can be applied (perhaps in a modified way...I have also adapted it, but later more ... without this patch the other patch from post #122 don't run properly).

Hi,

I've forgotten to post it here.. there is a bug in enigma2 in pmt.cpp. Your solution looks complicated, this is how it works for me:

@@ -199,7 +199,6 @@ void eDVBServicePMTHandler::PATready(int)
       ProgramAssociationConstIterator program;
       for (program = pat.getPrograms()->begin(); pmtpid == -1 && program != pat.getPrograms()->end(); ++program)
       {
-        ++cnt;
         if (eServiceID((*program)->getProgramNumber()) == m_reference.getServiceID())
           pmtpid = (*program)->getProgramMapPid();
         if (++cnt == 1 && pmtpid_single == -1 && pmtpid == -1)

And now, when pmt detection is fixed we don't need findPMT() call :)

Damn, I saw it and thought that it looks strange but I didn't look at it more intensive...
But your patch works only if there is only one pmt pid present in the stream. Is it normally the case in streams? (Yes, I know my patch might also not work because it might select the wrong pmt pid)
