I have a Xtrend ET-5000 with oficial firmware and I'd like to install openpli 2.1. I have already read a few sources and I know I need a new bootloader before flashing.

But before flashing I want to know if the following is possible:

1. create an image of the current software configuration

2. create a backup of the bouquets and basic settings

I've been searching in this forum and googling around but I couldn't convey to a clear conclusion.
