HI,
I have a DM 800HD se and use the image OpenPLi-2.1-beta-dm800se-20120101.zip.
I want to stream out from my server the channel I look at so if I change channel it should change for the upstream also.

Now I can only use the path from each channel like http://my.dyndns:8001/1:0:166:15:56:320000:0:0:0:

and stream for each channel and I can not change channel on my dreambox when I stream, I need to close the stream first...

I have read a little in the forum and it seams that the web-x-tv link is not available in the webinterface so the port 31344 doesnt work!

the fact is that web-x TV is not developed e2? Am I right or??

Is there anyone who develops or is there no interest in it???

The reason why I switched from newenigma2 to open pli was to get access to zapstreaming!

Hell that it does not work ....

I've done some testing with zapstream on e2 boxes. And although it did kinda work, it requires some more work to really do something usefull. It is already somewhere on my todo list.

Here is a guide so the web-x-TV zapstream will work, but Im not sure how to find out which eagle I use,
How can I find out my eagle version??

Web-X-TV Zapstream Eagle Update.

Big thanks to eagle Team with help and testing.

Zapstream is now integrated into web-x-tv, it now streams perfectly on port 31344.

There are 4 different versions of the plugin as it includes a /var/etc/init file which will overwrite your existing one.
Make sure to choose the correct plugin version if you wish to preserve your ethernet at startup function.

Version Info:
1. zap_webxtv_eagle5_0.tar.gz = is for use with Eagle V5.0
2. zap_webxtv_eagle5_1.tar.gz = is for use with Eagle V5.1
3. zap_webxtv_eagle5_2.tar.gz = is for use with Eagle V5.2
4. zap_webxtv_eagle.tar.gz = is for use with any earlier Eagle images.(No ethernet at startup).

Installation:
Transfer the plugin *tar.gz file to /tmp folder via ftp.
Use the Addon Manager to manual install.
You must reboot your receiver after installing the plugin to initialise zapstream.

VLC:
This plugin depends on VLC ActiveX plugin installed on your system:
You may need yo update to the latest version of VLC media player.
During installation make sure to select Mozilla plugin and ActiveX plugin.

Streaming:
Just connect to Eagle Web-X-TV as usual via your web browser.

After a quick glance the guide seems to be about making web-x-tv and zapstream work on an eagle image. I assume this is an enigma1 image for a box based on the ibm stb's (just like the dm70x0, dm600, dm500 and dm56x0).
In that case it will not work on a dm800hd.

You might try and prove me wrong. But if you are, as you said yourself, not so skilled, I would advise you not to try.

heheh Yes I have figured aout that eagle was a image. And Im not so intresst in change image from openpli. I will wait until Sjaaky or another devolper have fixe this issue...

But I can consider that zapstreamin does´t work for openpli for e2 as others dudes are saying in diffrent forum.. "like if you want zapstream for you dm800hd se you have to get openpli"....
