Hello,

I seem to be getting some errors(?) as regards samba, I think.
Here is my log:
[2012/01/22 17:45:02.611080, 0] smbd/server.c:1165(main)
standard input is not a socket, assuming -D option
[2012/01/22 19:38:28.043347, 0] lib/util_sock.c:675(write_data)
[2012/01/22 19:38:28.044066, 0] lib/util_sock.c:1432(get_peer_addr_internal)
getpeername failed. Error was Transport endpoint is not connected
write_data: write failure in writing to client 0.0.0.0. Error Transport endpoint is not connected
[2012/01/22 19:38:28.044475, 0] smbd/process.c:79(srv_send_smb)
Error writing 4 bytes to client. -1. (Transport endpoint is not connected)
I am not sure whether this is related but my wi-fi USB dongle keeps disconnecting from time to time and the only thing that helps is box restart.
Actually, there are 2 topics in this forum with similar issues:
http://openpli.org/f...ept-geen-start/
http://openpli.org/f...-initialiseren/
Unfortunately, they are in Dutch and I don't understand them.
Anyone can drop a hint?

Tryping to connect with Windows XP?

It by default connect simultaneously on ports 139 (SMB) and 445 (RPC), and will drop the connection to 139 if one on 445 succeeds.

Annoying, but nothing to worry about.

Currently in use: VU+ Duo 4K (2xFBC S2), VU+ Solo 4K (1xFBC S2), uClan Usytm 4K Pro (S2+T2), Octagon SF8008 (S2+T2), Zgemma H9.2H (S2+T2)

Due to my bad health, I will not be very active at times and may be slow to respond. I will not read the forum or PM on a regular basis.
