Generally speaking, one wouldn't want to use multiple sources for EPG of the same channels. Multiple sources are bound to produce non-consistent data and that can easily lead to (timer-)problems.
As Rytec-XMLTV has proven to be a good source, that would be my preferred source for EPG. Others might prefer Cross-EPG. To prevent conflicts, other sources like EIT must then be turned off.
But now I have a problem: I also want to visit satellites that are not covered by Rytec. So I want EIT (and maybe others) turned on. But I can't do that per satellite.
Would it be possible to add the option to switch EIT On/Off per satellite?

Yes I agree, this would be a good addition to make.
I have had issues where a timer conflict has occurred because of the use of EIT and other EPG such as Rytec
