It seems that Airplayer fixed the MediaPlayer issue...

I just installed it on my dm500hd and it works.
But does it only work with youtube?
I cant get it to work with airvideo or other simulare apps.

Airplayer only implements the unencrypted parts of the streaming protocol, which means it does not support audio or mirroring, as stated by the authors. However, James Laird extracted the private key of an Airport Express, which could be used in Airplayer as well to enable at least audio. Let's hope they do this.

As far as I know nothing, if you have installed the airplayer plugin on your receiver you should be able to stream from your Iphone to your DM

I'm currently on jailbroken 5.1.1...airplayer is installed on dm side, but somehow i don't see any airplay icon anywhere, what ios version yours is running?.

I just tried airplayer a while ago but I don't use it anymore. Maybe you can install airplayer on your Iphone, it's available, since you have jailbroken your Iphone, via installous, version 1.1.02 is available.

i just grabbed airplayer but it didn't pick anything, but strangely enough Airserver (available via cydia) did include that airplay icon on my media when i play it, there is a media share icon that allows to select what device you want to stream to, had to downgrade airplayer on my dm to 0.1.10 though to get it working...well kinda! since it only seems to play pictures nicely....other stuff not so much!!!

Thx so much again, what Ios your 3gs is running, if you don't mind? I'd hate to insist but i keep telling myself that it has something to do with it...you know apple marketing strategy when they allow older devices to upgrade...they also remove other features!!!

You dont have to instal anything on your iphone, dont why he's keep telling this.

Latest airplayer 2.4 is working on pli 2,1
