Hi,

/dev/sdb1 & /dev/sda1 have been mounted both on /media/usb.

root@et6x00:~# df
Filesystem 1K-blocks Used Available Use% Mounted on
ubi0:rootfs 107572 80912 26660 75% /
tmpfs 64 4 60 6% /dev
/dev/sda1 307663800 266131664 25903704 91% /media/usb
/dev/sdb1 307663800 266131664 25903704 91% /media/usb
tmpfs 145852 568 145284 0% /var/volatile

I have nothing in fstab.
I want to avoid to unmount manually and re-mount.

Must i add it manually to fstab in this case ?

/dev/sdba1 is a USB Stick.
/dev/sdbb1 is a USB HDD.

Thanks in advance
Lorenzo

Solved adding mapping directly to fstab.

Search for "blkid" on this forum.

I know what "blkid".
Why not mount the device correctly automatically.
What's the problem?
In UBIFS, mdev, or anything else?

You tell me, I see no problem. Mounting a harddisk as /media/hdd makes perfect sense to me, I see absolutely no problem with that.

As for the double mount, I've never seen that happen (even with 3 sticks and a harddisk, works just fine, no double mounts). Does it always do that? And are you willing to spend some time on diagnosing it?

You are right, it is a double mount is obtained.
I always turn off the tuner completely and after the problems with mounting.
I am ready to take the time to diagnosis, say what to do.

I am using own mdev-mount.sh, and i have no problems. But 2 USB devices, when one is removeable (hdd), cannot be double mounted. First founded removeable device is always mounted as HDD.
Removeable flag is wroted in HDD, USB box cannot change it ( but man never knows ).
