well, I think it can.
If you have an m2ts file which doesn't work for you, please upload it somewhere so we can have a look.

These links don't work for me, and I can't read Russian.
Don't you have some samples which I could use to test?

Well, as I said in other topic about m2ts, my Vu+Duo played m2ts file from external HDD with old kernel. When I installed Open Pli image with new kernell 3.1.1, box doesn't play the same file it played before.

Thanks.
tested this file on a et5000, and it works fine.
So it has nothing to do with the transition from gstreamer (servicemp3) --> servicem2ts, because that was the same for all boxes.

Just wanted to make sure about that, because that transition was around the same time the 3.1 kernel was introduced for the vu+ boxes.
So indeed, like you guys suspected, it was caused by the 3.1 update (and not by our e2 modifications).

That means Vu+ will have to fix the drivers, to make it work again.

I've tried it to on a dm8000 ,and with the movieplayer it doesn't work (it gives an error in movieplayer "channel not found")
But when i select it in dreamexplorer it plays just fine.
So it looks like a problem with the movieplayer and mediaplayer????

Snap! My Vuduo won't play m2ts or mts or display jpg. However, with dreamexplorer they all play/display well.

My Vu+Solo plays m2ts files with dreamexplorer too, but big files(30-40 Gb) play very bad, as slide-show, and at switching sound-track hang up. I say again , the same file works on other imiges the same 3.1.1 kernel. It's a problem of new PLI.

just use the normal movielist, those custom mediaplayer plugins attempt to use the wrong (hardcoded) service to playback m2ts.

The sample posted here works fine.

where is this "normal" movielist?do you mean that I have to remove media player and mediacenter?

normal movielist is where you have recordings etc. In Pli this is the best media player.

Well, I always use movielist in my Vu+ Duo and it doesn't play m2ts any more, the same file it played without any problem before new kernel.
