Hey

I would like to read infos (channel number, name of channel, what is playing now, time) actually displayed on Info Bar. Where can I grab it?

if you just want to see that info press the ok button and they will be shown on screen (depending on the skin). But I guess that is not what you mean.

If you want to create a skin showing this info see ho other skins use the renderer/convertor functions on the session.Event_Now source.

Otherwise, look in the I lib/python/Components/Converter/EventName.py how it is done there.

Is this possible to get them in Infobar.py or InfoBarGenerics.py or maybe somewhere else?

so infact more or less my 2nd and 3th suggestion. Basically InfoBarGenerics.py defines when the infobar is shown or hidden.
The skin defines what is shown (look for InfoBar in your skin.xml). The skin uses source attributes to get data sources and converters to define how the data source is converted/rendered.
