I am having trouble getting Hauppauge Nova USB-T-stick to work.
It has installed ok before.
I think i have tried all the drivers available in the OpenPLi feed.

Using OpenPLi-2.1-beta-vuduo-20120209

Any tips on what to try?

Same here. Worked fine up until the new kernel. Now when I try to install the dib0700 driver I get the following:

There is still trouble with dependencies. To get Nova -T work try this
opkg -force-depends install enigma2-plugin-drivers-dvb-usb-dib0700 kernel-module-dvb-usb-dib0700
That should install all the needed packages and after reboot usb tuner is recognized.

Good

Seems like the meta package "enigma2-plugin-drivers-dvb-usb*" references to the old module names "v4l-dvb-module*" instead of the new names "kernel-module*".

This means DVBPROVIDER is not set to "kernel" for the VU+ new kernels.

Thank you rimas, that did the trick! I had the same error as Raitsa reported but after reboot the sticks are now indeed recognized and working! ^^

Oh yes, just checked and my stick started working too, excellent, big thanks to rimas!

Here is hoping that we get this fixed in the future images, so no ugly errors show up.

Could anybody write an beginners guide, how to get working this NOVA-T USB tuner? I got it working on Black Hole image some years ago, but now on OpenPLi it does not give any result, even using all recommendation given here.

My system: DM800, Openpli 2.1, kernel 2.6.18 and WinTV-Nova-T-Stick model 294.

By the http://www.linuxtv.o...#Identification it is DiB7070P receiver inside of this stick.

Thanks a lot in advance!

Install the dib-0700 driver - reboot- ready... (not dib7070P)

But he DM800HD is still running an ancient kernel 2.6.18..... so there could be more troubles....

Not for the DM800HD and the DM7025.... because DMM is not upgrading the drivers....

Thank you! In this case I should try to find old blackhole drivers and try with them.
