Seems some plugins by Dimitrij have proper git repos and still we use pre-compiled ipks instead of building from the sources?

We should avoid this.

Agreed. But as long as he (or anyone else) doesn't make recipes for it...

Currently in use: VU+ Duo 4K (2xFBC S2), VU+ Solo 4K (1xFBC S2), uClan Usytm 4K Ultimate (S2+T2), Octagon SF8008 (S2+T2), Zgemma H9.2H (S2+T2)

I'll try to find time to test it...

After testing it doesn't work with OpenBh 5.0  and OpenATV 7.0

Can you update it to work with Python 3?

I am using OpenPli 7.3 and have just installed the TS-satEditor plugin, but need help before starting using it.

I have a satellites.xml file that I regularly manually update in the /etc/tuxbox folder. My bouquets are stored in the /etc/enigma2 folder, but there is no satellites.xml file there right now.

First of all, if I understand correctly, it would be a better idea to put my manually edited satellites.xml file in the /etc/enigma2 folder instead of /etc/tuxbox, is this correct?

And then I have some questions about TS-satEditor plugin. When it is started, the following options are displayed:

1. Create user ' /etc/enigma2/satellites.xml'

2. Create user ' /etc/enigma2/satellites.xml' (use default)

3. Use T2MI PLP.

Can somebody please explain what option should I select? Will my satellites.xml file be overwritten by the plugin?

1. Create user ' /etc/enigma2/satellites.xml'

install /etc/enigma2/satellites.xml from satellites.xml

2. Create user ' /etc/enigma2/satellites.xml' (use default)

copy /etc/tuxbox/satellites.xml  --> /etc/enigma2/satellites.xml

@Dimitrij : Thank you very much! One question: to be able to scan also multistream T2MI channels, do I need only the plugin, or do I have to install anything additionally in the open pli image (I have a vu+ duo 4k receiver with dvb-s2x fbc tuner which supports multistream)?

For instance what are the necessary settings to be able to scan 5 West, 12585 H, SR=35500, 2/3, Stream 20 (Stream 3 is working)?

The SR is not the problem, as the other stream on same frequency can be manually scanned. The eventually missing support for T2MI channels on vu+ duo 4k with openpli might be a problem....

Support T2MI

	def isT2MI(self):

		return os.path.exists("/proc/stb/frontend/%d/t2mi" % self.frontend_id)

Does the plugin check this? Or how can be manually verified if the T2MI support for the receiver+image is available?

There is no t2mi file/folder in any of the "/proc/stb/frontend/%d/t2mi" folders on my receiver---
