Is the missing t2mi support a hardware (vu+ duo 4k s2x fbc tuner) or software (openpli image) limitation?

Is there any tuner available for vu+ duo 4k, that has support for multistream and t2mi? Or is the receiver itself the problem?

It is the FBC module that doesn't support those DVB-S2X extensions.
Currently in use: VU+ Duo 4K (2xFBC S2), VU+ Solo 4K (1xFBC S2), uClan Usytm 4K Ultimate (S2+T2), Octagon SF8008 (S2+T2), Zgemma H9.2H (S2+T2)
Due to my bad health, I will not be very active at times and may be slow to respond. I will not read the forum or PM on a regular basis.

What exactly is the FBC module, a part of the tuner? Cannot the vu+ tuner be replaced with another tuner supporting t2mi?

It the entire tuner module, FBC is a type of tuner.
The Duo 4K has two MTSIF slots, and afaik you can only get an FBC DVB-S2, FBC DVB-C and a dual DVB-T module that would fit that slot.

Thanks for the link, I will take a look into it. Would the described solution work with vu+ duo 4k and open pli image, does anyone have this combination working?
