Hi,

could you please explain me, how I can install this mgcamd 1.38 properly?

- First I installed openpli brandnew from a usb-stick.

- Then I had to do a channel search.

- After that I opened a terminal and typed this in the folder /tmp:

opkg install enigma2-plugin-cam-mgcamd-full-v1.38_all.ipk

The installation began and it seemed, that mgcamd should work. I edited the box-type in the mg_cfg in 06.

- But when I tried something, nothing happend. I tried it with an old image from september 2011 and a new one. Unsuccessfully. :(

- Then for testing reasons I installed a VTI-Image and there the mgcamd works immediately. :o

I absolutly prefer the openpli-Image and want to use it further. Can someone please tell me, how I have to install the mgcamd that it will work?

I read about this fix:

ln -s /usr/lib/libcrypto.so.0.9.8 /usr/lib/libcrypto.so.0.9.7

but I guess that this it not nessesary anymore, isn't it?

Best Regards

Wouldn't it be better to symlink to libcrypto.so which itself always symlinks to the latest libcrypto.

On what else does it depend? Judging by the old 1.35 ipkg, which seems to be done by someone who know what he did as he's using Depends, there's:
softcam-support, libz1 (>= 1.2.3), libc6 (>= 2.12), libgcc1 (>= 4.4.4)

Also do you know which skin supports mgcamd's ecm times?

Ask on a VTI forum?

Currently in use: VU+ Duo 4K (2xFBC S2), VU+ Solo 4K (1xFBC S2), uClan Usytm 4K Pro (S2+T2), Octagon SF8008 (S2+T2), Zgemma H9.2H (S2+T2)

Due to my bad health, I will not be very active at times and may be slow to respond. I will not read the forum or PM on a regular basis.

Many answers to your question can be found in our new and improved wiki.

You just need a simlink on current libc.
