You can create a new timer and instead of "recording" you select "switch" which will switch to that channel. Is that want you mean?

If you add a timer (so, in the timer menu) you will see a selection: record/ngrab/switch etc.

You can create timer for recording or switching and then you can tell, what will be box make after finishing this timer - will be do nothing, go to standby or shutdown.
I think, it is not possible tell to box, that after recording with timer from ch1 switch to ch2.

Explain, what exactly you want.

I did not watch long time 7020, but i think, when you have created timer for recording from ch2 and you set before it box to standby on ch1, then timer is recording from ch2 and after wakeup box will be still on channel1.
Recording has priority => If you wake up in time, when is still recording and ch1 is on different transponder than ch2, recording continues and you seeing black screen.

for example, if i record a film/program etc...overnight and want the dreambox to be on a music channel in the morning, how?
i could do it previously with gemini4.7. but cannot see this option, to record/change another channel

when you are there in Timer screen, it is in combobox, above "Save". There is switch, record, ngrab.

Or when you are in EPG, press BLUE button => is created Switch timer
