I have installed this beautiful picture (OpenPLi-2.1-beta-dm500hd), but there is no way to install the DTS audio.
Can someone provide the files in order to install manually, since I do not find in the package manager?

DTS audio should be played normally... Only downmix will not work...

Just installed 'Openpli 2.1' on my dm500hd instead of Gemini 5.1.
Did it because of the subtitle feature which is perfect now (very impressed) instead of Gemini, but...

I used to have the DreamDTS plugin installed as i sometimes use it as a mediaplayer for MKV files with DTS sound.
Is it not possible to downmix DTS to stereo in Openpli/dm500hd?
If not, why?

Just install that same plugin.

Then it might also be that you need to manually enable the DTS downmix as it is removed on our code.... as the boxes that standardwise support DTS-downmix use one common setting for AC3 downmix and DTS-downmix.

This can be done by adding a file to /var/run/dts_mode with the contence "downmix"....

try this: enigma2-DTSplugin.ON_OFF-ET9000-OpenPLI.ipk

tested with a *.m2ts file and dts-hd

after the installation is done you can activate dts downmix on plugins menu, and after it is activated you lose AC3 downmix so to deactivate dts downmix and activate ac3 downmix again just use the plugin again

If this one is working probably someone can rename this Q&D plugin to enigma2_plugin_extensions_DTSplugin.ON_OFF-DMM-OpenPLi.ipk or so,,,,,,,

Should have been here yesterday it was too late.
In other images Newnigma2 already inserted in the ICVS gives to install and no need for DTS audio ON / OFF.

This library is not standard DMM as I suggest DMM has no licence to "modify" DTS streams.... The library just appears.... Other images probably just put it in.... With PLi the only way is a 3rd party ipk....

Does not work in DM800 and no remove plugin entry, had to flash new image to cleanup my image.

Is there any other DTS plugin that can play DTS tracks in a MKV file through the PVR from a HDD source?

Not on the DM800. Hardware cannot do it, and the CPU lacks an FPU to do it realtime.

Why do you want to switch it on/off.... when you do not have an official way to play DTS you always want downmix to be programmed ON???
